Morning Ed,

Hope you are well.

Any chance of a breif list of the players Chelsea are interested in signing this window?

Is it looking like Chelsea will have any deals sorted before the window opens (the 10th of June, right? )? I always like when we get deals done early, it really seems to signal intent.

Thanks.

Yeah signals intent and also helps if the manager can have a full preseason with the players, signing players after the league starts is tough on the players and is a tad desperate.

And chelsea seems to like delaying deals.

I just hope they listen to Conte's needs and not what someone else thinks is a 'good buy' like Cuadrado, Rahman, Saleh, Hector and Co.

Delays could be down to other teams/ players/ agents/ matches/ etc. Why does it mean Chelsea are delaying deals? Would make no sense.

Also, the Nike deal hasn't kicked in yet, so why would they want a new player to parade around in an Adidas shirt that we won't be wearing? All little things add up.

Much more concerned with the ideal player rather than the ideal timing.

Apparently Chelsea are growing frustrated with the amount of intermediaries involved in the Bakayoko deal. I hope we're able to work it out eventually. I'll be massively disappointed if we miss out on him.

I also rate him Jackson, a bit controversial but at 22 years old he's better than veiara and yaya toure, by the time he's 25-26 he would be physically strong and have a good reading of the game, people who judge him on 2 games against juventus are wrong about him, what if we only judged hazard and Kante in the games we lost against Arsenal and Liverpool?

He was a defensive minded midfielder in a team that didn't care a bit about defense. Even their fullbacks are attack minded first. So him getting a bit in over his head against Juve is nothing to be ashamed of. He was the only one trying to cover for the rest in midfield. That was bound to go wrong.
It'll just suck if we don't get him because Ed has already said that Bakayoko himself is intent on moving to Chelsea.

If he's so defence minded Jackson then why didn't he follow Higuain and track his run for his first goal?

{Ed002's Note - "Big" is subjective.}

So there's truth in it then?

{Ed002's Note - I really don't know but Juventus are not looking to sell.}

Cheers Ed nice one. I highly doubt it also he's probably the best all round LB in the world for me along with Alaba. I rate Marcelo he's just not as good at defending.
