Anyone else quite excited about us being linked to Vidal?
I know he's 31 or so now, but this guy next to Kante in midfield would be amazing. He's the type of player we currently do not have. He's box to box, can defend and get amongst the goals at the other end. He's also a leader on the pitch and something we could do with in the middle of the pitch.
Would be a suberb signing in my opinion and Conte clearly loves him as a player from their time together at Juventus. Your thoughts guys?

Nathswindon, If not this month I certainly wouldn't rule us out of making a move for Vidal in the summer.

Can’t get excited about a 31yr old TBH, any injuries are always longer lay off and his best years are behind him, plus the fee and high wages. short term solution at best,

He's 31 in May but so is Bonucci and Nainggolan is 30 all wanted by others on here at different times. Providing he is injury free he could be a bit of stabilising experience we need if we could pick him up for a sensible price.

Suprising to see soo many Chelsea fans against this move. Seems to be because of his age but they don't seem to realise we got the likes of Makelele, Ballack, Anelka and Deco when they were in their 30's or getting there. How getting one of the best box to box cm's in the world to possibly play beside Kante and Fab doesn't excite some fans is staggering. But hey everybody can have a different preference i suppose.

I like that Vidal has a bit of nastiness to his game.
Not afraid to get a yellow card and is a player that wants to win.
At 30/ 31, he's not exactly at the very tail end of his career and coming from a league that isn't amazingly taxi in regards to opponents of Bayern. I see very little down side to this.
