Harry Redknapp will not join Chelsea as their manager, this rumour was manufactured by the top 3 bookmakers, making them in excess of a cool 100,000 each, from odds of 25-1 to 4-9 is making mugs of punters,

Hiddink or Barcelona's senor Pep won't take the demanding role, so get the smart money on Marco Van Basten being Romans new puppy at the Bridge

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Are you a bookie by any chance?

Agree0 Disagree4

We should have kept Ray and Carlo, now look at the position were in. I don't think there is many decent managers out there available.

Agree1 Disagree3

Pellegrini?

Fair enough Neymar And Van Der Wiel are number 1 targets but surely a Centrel attacking mid is also high on the list?

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Yer like Iniesta or Sneijder. Dont be bringin this Modric over let him stay where he is.

Agree0 Disagree3

Modric is in my opinion as good as Sniejder except Modric doesn't have the pace Wesley has.

Agree2 Disagree0

Modric is better than Sneider imo.

Josh is a better player than Modric.
At spurs he goes missing for games on end.

Believable1 Unbelievable7

Chelsea web pages don't mention Modric.
He is nowhere near good enough for chelsea.Personaly I disagree. I think Modric is exactly what we need. We don't have anyone in our midfield who passes the ball as well as he does. He might score as many goals as lampard. But if we were to end up with a front line of Torres, neymar and maybe a aguero or sanchez, then they need someone who can pick out their runs early

Believable4 Unbelievable1

You need to watch more football mate, Modric is average. Plastic supporter obviously.

Agree1 Disagree6

Plastic? If you say so. I'm not saying Modric is my first choice I'm just saying he is a better passer than our midfielders. Who have very little creativity or vision

Agree6 Disagree0

Yes I agree he is like Snieder or Inesta I would put McEachran on the right midfield Ramires in the middle and Modric on the left, now that would be super creative midfield.

Agree2 Disagree6

Modric not any good?? What a joke you are. Get your flags out.

Agree4 Disagree0

Ide rather have Crusty the clown in midfield.

Agree0 Disagree2

Modric wud easily b chavski best player

I would love Hiddink as manager but if he won't come I think everyone is forgetting a top manager out of work. Martin Oneill. Whats everybody's thoughts? {Ed001's Note - so what top manager? O'Neill is far from top.}

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Did fantastic with villa ed. Its just my opinion, seemed to hit a nerve there.

Agree6 Disagree1

He's a shocking manager, what did he acheive at villa then. He's another long ball merchant, who can't handle world stars. Hiddink will take the job for a year or two.

Agree2 Disagree6

Ashley young, agbonlahor, milner, petrov. Not all long ball stuff. He turned villa into a top 6 team. I just think its always the same names being touted for the job and would like a change. {Ed002's Note - You may have a long wait.}

Everyone seems to lose their heads as soon as the season finishes. . I read that there's going to be a "mass clear out" at Chelsea every summer. There won't be. Fans backing rumours of Drogba to leave are a bit mad too, aren't they?! He's been an absolute force for us and you cannot question his passion for the club, just refer back to when we got knocked out of the CL in 08/09 against Barcelona. He cares. Trying to kick him out just because we've got Torres and a young Brazilian shouting off about wanting to play for us is ridiculous. Malouda isn't going. Lamps and JT will be in the 11 come the opening day too. I think a lesson has been learnt from last year, getting rid of Belletti, Deco, J Cole and Ballack. So sending our bigger names to different clubs in reality, is unlikely. Yes, by all means expect comings and goings. But players that were in our starting eleven this year, won't be shipped out. That's just basic, common sense to me?! Who'll come in? I don't know. Sturridge is back and he wants to play, Neymar wants to move to the Bridge, Torres has a point to prove, Drogba is our main man, and Anelka is reliable. So, let's hope we don't do a Man City and splash out on players we don't need. Get a few quality players in, strengthen the depth of the squad, let a few fringe players go, and bring up the likes of McEachran to let them show what they've got. As for the managers job, wait and see. Seems obvious, again. There's a crucial match next week. Turkey lose that, then expect something to be announced. It seems likely that's what it is all pending on. Would love to see Hiddink back. But blimey, some of you Blues fan are absolutely crazy.

YOUR THE CRAZY ONE MATE, ITS CRUCIAL WE PREPARE FOR THE FUTURE NOW BY REPLACING THE OLD PLAYERS, THE TEAM AS A WHOLE PEAKED IN THE DOUBLE SEASON, THE LIKES OF DROGBA, ANELKA, LAMPARD, TERRY, COLE, MALOUDA WILL NOT GET BETTER WITH AGE, WE COULD KEEP THESE PLAYERS FOR ANOTHER YEAR OR TWO PLAYING BIT PART ROLES AND TAKING UP SQUAD PLACES, OR WE COULD CASH IN WHILE WE CAN, ASIDE FROM COLE AND TERRY ID CASH IN, MIGHT BE A BIT DODGY NEXT SEASON WITH THE TEAM GELLING, BUT ID RATHER HAVE ONE SLOW SEASON WITH A BRIGHT FUTURE, THAN TRY TO GRADUALLY CHANGE IT AND BE DODGY FOR THE NEXT 4 OR 5

ZOLA {Ed002's Note - Please do not type in CAPS in the future.}

This is not based on any fact what so ever! Just my own opinion as to what would work;

IN
* Van Der Wiel
* Sneijder
* Neymar
* Lukaku
* New backup GK

OUT
* Anelka
* Ferriera
* Turnbull
* Hilario
* Kalou
* Bosingwa
* A few other youth/fringe players

STARTING LINE UP
GK) Cech
RB) Van der Wiel
CB) David Luiz
CB) Terry
LB) Cole
CM) Essien
CM) Lampard
CM) Ramires
ACM) Sneijder
CF) Neymar
CF) Torress

Drogba, Lukaku, Sturridge, Malouda, Mceachran, Obi Mikel, Van Aanholt, Ivanovic, Alex, Bruma all available too.

Hiddink/Van Basten coaching team.

Seems realistic enough.

Believable2 Unbelievable5

No width, we need wingers

Agree8 Disagree1

We have kakuta

Agree0 Disagree5

Sneijder is too expensive and demands wages of $200'000+ a week

Agree0 Disagree5

I'd just as soon keep Kalouless instead of having to tolerate another season of Malouda.
