Hey Ed's. Any chance of Dzeko? Reports still saying he's interested in a move away if he won't get playing time at City. I'd actually prefer him to Rooney.

suarez and rooney are more or less the same but I prefer suarez he is more skilfull great balance, goal getter 4 me

And unfortunately a complete bag. Rooney any day if it were between the two. Plus it will save 20m or whatever mad numbers are being thrown around. Suarez is just bad news. Let him cause his troubles in North London.

Agree0 Disagree0

Suarez any day!
Rooney is highly over-rated!
They are both stubborn players.
Yet Suarez is far better than Rooney in all footballing standards.

I think you forget the Jose factor. Rooney will be transformed under JM

People's thoughts on Schurrle? I've only seen him play once, and I've got to admit, I didn't think he looked exactly incredible. Does anyone know a lot about him? As it seems he'll end up being our biggest signing this season, unless this Rooney thing happens. From pre season (I know it's not an amazing guide) he seems exactly as I thought previously.

I do t want to be accused of writing anyone off before they play an official game, I'm more than willing to give him the benefit if the doubt and will obviously support him fully.

I'm just a bit nervous with City's spending, and the players being linked with the other top clubs I guess!

Schurrle will need time to adapt to EPL. EPL clubs usually gives player one year to adapt, most of clubs decide players future during second season. Have faith. I've prefer Marco Reus but he would cost at least twice than Schurrle.

Reus don't wanna leave Dortmund as he is a long time fan of them. Schurrle looked pretty average but van ginkel was pretty good in my opinion jayj {Ed018's Note - it's all a bunch of hoping but it'd be nice to see Van Ginkel turn into a Ballack type player}

I watched all the pre-season games and he looked alright to me. Just had to keep reminding myself he only joined relatively recently and those were 3 tough games (conditions wise, and due to lack of full competitive fitness). I thought he linked up well with AC3, which was promising. He does seem comfortable on the ball and willing to take people on or dart for the line when necessary.

I'd expect double figures in goals and assists this year, but not in to the 20s. Just need to be a little patient, he is only a young.

I didn't realize how much Norwich City had strengthened their team this summer! A charge at the top 7 or 8 is very much reachable I think - especially with Chris Hughton as the manager (someone I rate very highly).

Ricky Van Wolfswinkel from Sporting Lisbon - £8.5m

Javier Garrido from Lazio - £1.3m

Nathan Redmond from Birmingham City - £3.2m

Leroy Fer from FC Twente - £4.7m

Carlo Nash from Stoke City - free

Martin Olsson from Blackburn Rovers - £2.5m

Gary Hooper from Celtic - £5m

Quality signings! Alessandro
