Just wondering, why do a lot of fans not have faith in michy? He's not amazing but he's a great young talent and it thought he had a very good game against Brentford! He is an excellent backup and does deserve to start more games. People make judgements before he's had a chance. He has started 4 games and scored in all of them,(granted they have all been in cup matches against weaker teams) but he has shown that he can hold up the play, he's fast and skillful and can score goals

I think Brentford was by far Michy's best game. In general I think he's been a victim of Costa's terrific form and consistency. He usually gets 5-10 minutes at the end of the game where our team sits deep leaving him isolated. I also feel like he plays like he's trying to prove his worth which leads to him trying to make a miracle happen rather than taking the better option. Next year I feel like he will really make a jump as it will be his second year in the system and we will have European football to help get him more consistent minutes.

I've been impressed with every time I have watched him play to be honest . He had a very good game yesterday and was unlucky not to add to his tally, on another day he could have ended up with 3 or 4.
Also I thought it was a nice touch by Costa to let Michy take that penalty and the whole team seemed to be delighted that he got his goal. They all obviously like him and want him to succeed at the club.

I agree with TK, he's a victim of Costa's great form and trying to impress too much in the limited amount of time he's on the pitch.
