Ed do you still think Schurrle will leave with Salah going on loan to Fiorentina because that would leave us short. Someone like Traore or T Hazard would have been perfect to replace him.

{Ed002's Note - Try not to complicate things.}

With the signing of Cuadrado seeming imminent It seems that we've dodged a bullet with Douglas costa because he is average at best.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Average based on what? Watching YouTube clips can't justify that & I doubt your watch Ukrainian football a lot mate, he's an upgrade on salah that's a given!

Agree0 Disagree0

Douglas Costa is definitely upgrade on Salah.

Yeah but Salah barely played? You're telling me you'd rather spend 30 million on WHAT IS an AVERAGE player to hardly play when we have Piazon, Traore or T Hazard who would do a great job as 5th choice??

Agree0 Disagree0

Salah had he's chances to impress but he failed epically, like I said you can't judge D costa on YouTube clips, if Jose wanted piazon, traore, or t hazard in the squad then they would be in the squad

Agree0 Disagree0

Exactky, signing Doug Costa would be almost as stupid As the Torres signing.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think suggesting we were after Costa was an enticement for Fiorentina to agree to negotiate over Cuadrado.

Torres signing was stupid, it was torres who didn't live up to his expectations

Agree0 Disagree0

So you watch Ukrainian football from Australia aswel do you Aron? Lol can't judge what you haven't seen bro. who's to say he wouldn't be a world beater with our squad? Makes sense to use him as bait for cuadrado

Agree0 Disagree0

I don't know if its stupid to sign Douglas Costa or not. I am sure that Chelsea will not pay 30m EUR for him. But is better than Salah-yes he upgrade on Salah for sure.
We already have made financially bad decision when bought Willian for 32m£ and we already had KDB who we brought for 5.5m£.So nothing can surprise me.

Agree0 Disagree0

If I'm proven wrong I'll admit that. But spending dumb money on a position that doesn't get gametime would be stupid. Moses or someone on loan or even academy could do that job.

Hi Ed, just going to say this immediately, I saw it on Twitter (please don't judge me).
Saw a picture of Cuadrado at Heathrow Airport. Has an agreement been reached over a transfer for him or are the clubs still negotiating over the fee?
Thanks man

{Ed002's Note - Try asking on Twitter.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Saw the same picture. did it not say Miami lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't know how though, Ed, I don't have a Twitter account :)
I phrased it wrong. I didn't see it on Twitter, I just saw a picture from Twitter somewhere on the Internet.
That makes it a little better, doesn't it? ;-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Someone posted the same picture in September saying it was in Colombia I believe

Agree0 Disagree0

Ooooops guess I got a little too excited :)

Ed do you expect Eden hazard to sign a new deal it seems to gone very quite when Jose said it was more or less a done deal

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - I have no interest in contracts at all.}

Whilst Costa's stamp on Can was unforgivable, the media coverage on it is massive. The decision to not send Costa off, is probably the least of the worst decisions in the game. Especially as the ref didn't see it and so therefore the decision was really out of his hands. But the coverage on the extremely poor decisions by the ref, have been glossed over or completely ignored for the most part. In the post match interviews, not one question was asked about the lack of Skrtel, Can, Lucas and Henderson seeing second yellows. Whilst Costa's stamp is a worthy subject to report on, there was none of this when Mangala fly kicked an Everton player or when Aguero literally jumped on a Chelsea player a year ago. The amount of media coverage on any negative Chelsea story really does lead credence to JM's theory of a conspiracy.

Another point, a lot of refs have seemed reluctant to give second yellow cards recently. On the league cup show, one of the pundits gave credit to Michael Oliver as he said 'it made the game more interesting' or some other bs. Had they been given second yellows, we might have been able to win in normal time and our players would be in better condition for the weekends game. In City's game against Boro, Kolorov should have seen a second yellow when he hacked down a player outside their box, but since play went on and Boro scored, he wasn't. Now he's available to play against us. Henderson, Lucas et al are all available to play on the weekend too, and whilst Pool aren't really challenging us for the title, the fact that they're now available and can go on to help Pool win on the weekend is a sore point for me. And all that just because giving them a second yellow 'would have ruined the game'. And yet in our game against ManU, Iva was given 2 pretty soft yellows.
Anyways rant over. What does everyone else think? Are decisions really going against us? Should refs try to keep 11 players on the pitch in order to create a better game?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I agree with the entire post. The ref had an absolute shocker, but all the after match focus has been on Costa. No mention of the penalty, continual fouling and blatant handball. Obviously we are the team to hate. I say, no one likes us we don't care.

I totally agree with you (fuser & brisvegas blue) and I must confess it hurts badly as the FA and media can not.be punish for bating js, I wish a massive social media campaign can be launched, If I was in England I would have loved to lead a peacefull protest (as a fan) with blackerd to the FA headquarters as well as the referee association, these campaign against chelseafc must stop

I honestly don't wish for the FA or the media to be punished but for them to be fair enough in their dealings' as far as Chelsea fc is concerned, we want to also possess accolade like Liverpool fc, manu fc, real Madrid. But its will be very difficult for us if the FA keep looking for way to alter our progress
