Shame about the penalties but our best performance of the season - with just a bit of luck we could have been 3 or 4 up at half-time. Remy has to start ahead of Falcao - Kenedy and Troare should be given more minutes (not necessarily as starters but as the go to subs) - Baba looked much better than last time - things are looking up (at last) - now for the stanleys.

Agree, we all need to stay positive. Dortmund were terrible last season and didn't up there game till after the new year and ended up about seventh. They all still stood behind Klopp though to be fair.

Just wondering what people's opinions are on this. Personally were nowhere near good enough to win the champions league this season so what's the point in staying in it really? If we finished third and went into the Europa knockouts it would be a good opportunity to give our youngsters a lot more games I reckon. Aina, Baba, RLC, Traore, Kenedy could gain a lot of experience between now and the end of the season and that would give our first team no matter how poor they are the chance to concentrate on getting back into top four. Hazard was back to his best last night I just feel gutted for him with the penalty as his confidence is shot. He came over to us at the away end and genuinely apologised and was nearly crying it's the first time I've seen massive emotion from Eden before and I respect him for that. The Europa wouldn't be the end of the world that's all I'm saying. We need to definately give the likes of Mikel, Oscar and Remy. Remy is CLINICAL. He just needs game time and chances created for him and he'll put them away. We don't need a new striker just give Loic game time.

Absolutely not. The champions league is a very strange competition, if you recall we won it and finished 6th in the league. Also Europa league football has seemed to hurt every team that plays in it.

About Hazard, did he really come over to the fans? That's nice to hear, though he shouldn't beat himself up over it. Get back to training and hopefully his confidence will rise again. We all know what he's capable of.
I felt so bad for him as we played well and he himself had a good game.

Yeah was nice to see. The whole 4,700 fans were behind Chelsea and mourinho last night even sang them off the pitch because we need Jose to stay. Not like most of the plastics on here who know absolutely nothing about being proper Chels.

The financial aspect alone being in the champions league is massive compared to the Europa league!

Understand about the champions league but I doubt we'll even get past the quarters if we're lucky. That's why I'd rather just try and see us win the europa again. At least it's their as a safety barrier invade we carry on playing poor in the league.

Also, the way the season's going, winning the Europa might be our best route into the CL next season. Liverpool, Spurs, Napoli, Valencia - they're about the best teams left - I'd back us against any of them over 2 legs.

Our away support was fantastic yesterday. I was proud to call myself a Chelsea supporter. Chanting "Mourinho" also made me happy, glad to see most fans stand by him :-)

I'm still very confident we'll get top 4.

Same here t. k even more so if we stick with Jose, it seems tough but it's mou. If anyone can certainly it's got to be him. We just need that luck just something to fall in our favour and I think we'll start firing on all cylinders again.

Matthew Syed's piece in the Times today is a farce. The club should sue for libel and slander, that isn't journalism, it's just hyperinflated insults!
