What is going to convince Eden hazard to not only stay at Chelsea this season but also sign a new deal. For me if it's going to be sarri and he sticks to his way of playing then that's a good start but surely the players we are being linked with have to be a lot better. There is only a handful of truly world class players out there and we have one that is certainly in the top 10. I may be wrong but I see us as a bigger club than city but yet they don't seem to haggle over signings and yet we are signing what seems to be our 3rd or 4th choice player for certain positions. It is a fact that when we have brought in quality players we have had a good season. Now I'm not blaming certain players but put yourself in hazards shoes and you see naingollan or Vidal linked and then Drinkwater walks in the door, it would clearly put doubts in your mind that the club are not matching your ambition. I believe it's time the club backed the manager that comes in buy purchasing a better calibre of player or a player. Win lose or draw we all love Chelsea but to keep our best players the club need to do more to sign better players.
