Ed, all seems to have gone quiet on the Alexis Sanchez front, does a move still seem likely right now? If so then which teams could be potential destinations? Thank you. {Ed018's Note - you'd have to ask on the Barcelona page}

Seeing then players we've been using and then a picture of ' Oscar Torres luiz azpilcueta and mata together join up with squad is nothing short of exciting, add Rooney to the mix and sell BA ( I do like him but torres won't be leaving) and we have a fantastic team/squad only problem is who to play and who to leave out. Me personally would play 1 DM and lukaku and Rooney/Torres up front.

As teams stands at present I would say we have enough to finish above arsenal, spuds and Man U. If arsenal get Suarez and spuds get soldado and keep bale then they will be closer, but we will still finish above them. The problem will be city who have spent a lot and will be our main challengers. Man U, as it stands at present, without the saf factor, might not have such a good season. But they may have major signings to come. So to challenge city and get somewhere in the champions league we need a defensive midfielder and a centre half. I think lukaku will turn out to be our number one striker and probably one of the stars of the season. But signing Rooney would, in my opinion, put us at the top. Dan

If spurs get soldado and keep bale, I think we could see United outside the top 4

I agree with both posts. I am afraid that MU get Fabregas (unlikely)&Fellaini that would change things a lot.

Nah Man U's midfield is terrible, if the squad stays as it is they won't win the league, maybe even 5th. They'll be screwed if RvP gets injured.

I'm praying they don't land Fab

Yea, I agree. Utd not looking too strong w/o saf. Arsenal with Suarez and spuds with bale and soldado are looking competitive. And city with the amount they have spent yet and still looking to spend more have a lot pf pressure to deliver. But with jm at the helm thers nothing to fear. Derek
