Does anyone know if this miazga kid is good enough to go into the first team squad or are we shipping him out somewhere like vitesse for the short term.

I see him as a direct replacement for djibodji (sp? ) who played a total of like 4 minutes in the first half of the year. Getting him integrated to Europe while in a controlled environment and at the club really isn't too bad an option. He could train with the big boys, is under 21 so would be able to play in all competitions if needed without costing us a squad spot, and get minutes as needed with our u21 team.

He would require a spot for the CL.

Anyone else think that Alexandre Pato looked somewhat fleshy when interviewed.

JBS: Since the end of last season something has gone awry with the transfers when you look at output versus outlay. Pato worries me for two reasons; he looked unfit to go straight into the team which means some intensive training if we are going to get anything out of him in six months and that means will his hamstrings hold up? Having said that when he is fully fit he is a brilliant footballer but it's getting him there and keeping him fit.

He hasn't played since end of November mainly because Brazil league has finished I think. He does need to lose a few pounds. He's been major injury free for a while. If he gets fit we could have a bargain on our hands. He's still got pace! And he still smashes the ball. I think this is a brave signing. But also one that will pay off. I'm
So sure of it ahhaha well see though.

Cannot complain with the Ramires deal as it was far too much money to turn down, but what I will say is we have lost a brilliant player and brilliant athlete. Will forever be thankful for his goal at the Nou Camp, gives me absolute shivers every single time and has to be one of my favourite ever Chelsea goals. The one in the FA Cup final against the scousers as well will live in my memory. Best of luck in China, will always be welcome back at Chelsea.

Saim,
£25m for Ramires and £50m for David Luiz?
You think we can get £20m for Mertesacker? Lol.

Sad to see ramirez go I wish him well
I always had a soft spot for him
He always gave 110% no matter the match
Yes his passing wasn't the best but he made up for that with heart
His goal against Barcelona was absolutely brilliant, wouldn't of won the cl in my opinion if that hadn't gone in at that time of the match
So for that I salute you sir.

Theres been some people voicing their concern about January's business but so far I don't think you can put much blame on the club. 25m is too much money to turn down for Ramires and we need to really give Ruben his shot so this accomplishes both. While it does make us thinner in midfield you can't build your team under the expectation of multiple midfielder picking up injuries at the same time. The pato deal became a lot more understandable once it became clear that it would be a loan. I really wouldn't be surprised to see Remy go before the end of the window and the club bringing in his replacement in pato before he left. I really think it's in traores best interests to explore his loan options as there are currently 4 other wingers ahead of him in the pecking order and pato is comfortable in that position. While it would be lovely to sign stars in January there's a number of issues that are presented including the clubs not wanting to sell, our clubs unstable immediate future, and the euros are coming up so many players are trying to position themselves at clubs where they give themselves the best chance at minutes.
