Benfica are playing hardball with chelsea and it is expected his move to chelsea to still go through, they want the full payment now rather then installments and if not tomorow on sunday chelsea will eventually cough up !

Chelsea rumours, i can tell you all torres will not be joining chelsea its near the end of the transfer window and the press are trying to get the rumours going, if you look at the facts liverpool don't need to sell as the dept is gone and torres said way back he honours his contracts plus liverpool are in fairness going to start with big signings starting with luis suarez they don't need to sell to buy, and in the summer the cheque book will come out and they will look in better shape than chelsea, look at the facts chelsea are an ageing squad the manager could get sacked in summer and on form you's might not qualify for champions league-sorry, but its true, and with russia and the world cup roman is not even sure if he wants to carry on with chelsea, at the minute liverpool are moving up yeah they need lots of work but with kenny there its looking good, chelsea look like they are going to need alot of work maybe more than liverpool as they have sorted the club out good age squad and money to spend as you see today and a steady manager who is loved by players and fans, chelsea need a major rebuilding the team is too old and manager and owner is uncerting, so torres will not be joining chelsea not now or summer they are going through a rebuilding period so why would torres leave one rebuilding project for another? Would love to see Torres and Luiz at the Bridge but lets not kid ourselves. Have we not been here before with Robinho, Neymar and Gerrard. Instead of haggling over a couple of million at the end of the window why wasn, t some business done at the start of the window a la Man City instead of stringing the fans along with the false hope of a significant signing or two. I can pretty much guarantee that by Monday evening we will have the same squad licking its wounds following a 1-0 cup exit at Everton {louis saha} having failed to muster a shot on target. In fact the squad will be weaker following the loan departures of Kakuta and Van Aanholt. As exciting as all this sounds you just know nothing will materialise.

I think this is typical Chelsea. We havent moved all transfer window, the fans are getting moody with the lack of action, so the board make offers for players (Kun/Torres etc) that they know we can't get, so that in some ways it shows that we are still "willing" to pay big money for transfers.

I believe the Torres bid is smoke screan to hide the Aguero interest, bids for £40m don't get done in full view of the press i think its a stunt by chelsea to draw attention away from Stamford bridge!

It's time to invest in some younger exciting attacking players instead of someone who is injury prone and extremely overpriced! !
