Terrible news. Only a few mins before the crash the owner and a few others could be seen entering the helicopter happily and would imagine they would be in a crash moments later. Life's too short. My thoughts are with all those that are affected by this tradegy.

Dreadful news, now confirmed that owner was on board. Did remind me too of Matthew Harding tragedy. My thoughts also with all those affected by the tragedy, including all Leicester fans at this time.

I know this post may get me a lot of stick but I have to say Davide Zappacosta has been doing well for us recently. He has been impressive in the Europa league games. Against Bate he was so impressive, he controlled the right side. He is improving defensively and if he becomes reliable then may be he can push Azpi. Obviously Azpi got leadership qualities that makes it even harder. But fair play to Zappa, unlike Moses his been pretty good.

Also Emerson is quality, he has impressed me every time he plays. He is so good on the ball and the Sarri tactics suits him perfectly. He interlinks with our attackers naturally and his getting better defensively. It's hard for him at the minute because Alonso is doing well but if his levels drop then you know Emerson is waiting. He was so highly regarded in Italy before his injury, hopefully we can hear the fruits of his potential.

Good on Andreas Christensen, despite his father's gob he put his head down and played a good game too. It's tough for him at the moment but he has to remember when his chance comes he has to take it.

Think you’re looking too much into it, it was really poor opposition. Play Zappacosta against a better side and he struggles. I do like Emerson though.

I agree with KingFrank. Emerson has impressed me considerably more in the games they've played together than Zappacosta, but the opposition has not been very strong.

Sarri said that Alonso is best left-back in Europe so I think Emerson will struggls tk get game time in PL.

Though he will probably play most games in Europa league.

In the match on Thursday zappa Costa was miles better than emerson

A question I'm wondering about. When we play teams in the bottom half at home does Kante need to start? I think he should be benched against teams who will sit back. We don't need to play Kante and Kovacic at home. I would like to see Kovacic and Loftus-Cheek or Barkley start next to Kova and Jorginho at home.

Kante does so much work which is not shown on TV. I do attend some games and the boy covers so much ground and does so much interceptions.

I think Kante is not droppable mate. His our energy in the middle. The amount of times he intercepts in a game is unreal, amount of counter attacks he stops is unreal. He is the best defensive midfielder in the world. For Sarri his unstoppable, teams would counter attack us for fun given that we are always playing on the front foot these days.


But I could see your thoughts behind it. With Kante, Jorginho and Kovacic we lack goals. Personally, we have to rotate Kovacic, Barkley and RLC. Against weaker teams we should start with RLC, weaker teams will defend deep and he is the only one that scores from range and drives with the ball. However, I can see Barkley up his game even more now. Maybe against tougher opponents we use Kovacic who would have been perfect if he had goals in his game.

Kante really isn't the key player in our side given the new philosophy that title is now in the hands of Jorghino.
The problem is further compounded by the lack of goalscoring players in other key positions.
Our first choice midfield of Jorghino, Kovacic and Kante rarely score likewise our strikers.
In his new role Kante simply isn't the player he was under Conte and Mourinho.
If Sarri is around for the long term I could see Kante choosing to move on and play for a team that can utilise his exceptional talents to the full.

I wrote a post but wasn’t uploaded on how kante does the pressing, winning bell back and ground covering they no other player can do and how he is better on ball than most think. My fear is he is only player except hazard who has a high value and worry PSG ( desperately need him ) could come in and Chelsea sell to raise funds for other players that Sarri may want,

He really doesn't which is a major problem for me.
Where are the goals coming from without Eden playing at his best?
Take a look at the goal tally for our middle and front players in the last 12 months .

I think both Kante and Jorginho have to start, I think there does come a point in some games though where both don't have to be on the pitch together.
