So because someone is over 30 that makes them a bad player or past it?
Look at Xavi well over 30 and Barca are playing even better now than under Guardiola.
Pirlo well over 30 best player at the Euro's!
Van Persie is only a few months away from turning 30 does he suddenly become past it on his 30th birthday and loose all his ability?

No one is saying that, they're just saying we are signing young, bright prospects now. We're past signing people in their prime on big wages. (Or so the last 3 windows seem to suggest...)

Good Presser from Benitez today he comes across well in my opinion But why do TV broadcasters ask the same questions but just word it different then the Journalists do the same!

Will Marin ever get a chance? He is a different player to our midfield trio! He more direct and has trickery, I think he would of been a perfect sub against west brom or even city to try and change something! Thoughts? {Ed002's Note - Now he is fit, chances will come.}

just a thought i have had...

and just so you know i have supported torres so much up until about three games ago. i didn't think we should sigh a striker because it would upset him but i've had e-f*cking-nough.

i'm pretty confident in saying that there is striker from every premier league club that i think would be more beneficial to the team than fernando torres.

Yes its completly true know matter what people believe, Torres may have scored 1-2 goals more than some on that list. But that is down to Torres has played twice the amount of time they has and Torres has most likely the best support behind him in the whole PL and sadly he cannot seem to use it. Look at Sturridge the last 20min at West Brom he got soo MANY chancesm and they were very dangerous and if he had more playing time with the team i am sure he banged 2 goals in so we would have won that match. I actually think Sturridge got more chances that match in 20min that Torres usually get in 3-4 matches, that just show how much of statue he is just looking back on his teammate and being mad and blaming them for everything.

Even Heskey is more effective atm.
