Got some good kids there boys, instead of spending mega bucks all the time why not change course and give sine of these youngsters the crack they deserve. It didn't do Manchester United any harm.

Cheers, Raver :-) I'm of the opinion that if you want to stay at the top you have to spend a bit. Make no mistake, United will be doing just that as well.
However, the money should be spent on players that have the quality to start for us. Buy a top class player if we need a starting caliber player, or use youngsters (or players coming back from loan) to fill in the depth positions for the 1st team. So much talent, it'd be a shame not to use it.

But thanks, Raver. It's nice to see a fan of another team realizing there's a great youth set up at Chelsea.

Agree with Jackson we do definately need new players which we'll have to spend on which for me the ideal two would be Bonucci and Nainggolan. Aina for me should be given a run at RB with Azpi going back to the left. We need to keep Terry for another year I'd love to go in to the new season with Zouma, Bonucci, Terry and Clarke-Salter centre backs. Then I'd play Terry and Clarke-Salter together in the cups. Then Christensen can replace JT after his two year loan ends. Palmer should be starting too I'd rest Willian now if he's going to the Olympics.

Ed02. What is your opinion on football agents? It was a good idea to begin with, when a footballer had someone more knowledgeable about the money side of things, representing his interests. But they now seem to have such a massive influence in the game, and many, I suspect, put their own financial interests before what can be seen to be best for the player. Can they stop a transfer, even if all parties want a deal, if their own fee is not acceptable?

{Ed002's Note - It varies case-by-case. There are so many unregistered representatives making approaches to clubs, picking up young African players etc. that there is a problem there. There are then those who do a straightforward honest job representing their client. And there are those that interfere to the extent that players move clubs. There are then those who work well beyond being simply representatives of players and deal directly on behalf of clubs from player negotiations to negotiating for new managers at the highest end of the market.}

I really think we all need to stop asking about whatever happened with Lukaku. Ed002 has made it clear that it's not important so best not to dwell on it.

You can't actually sign players until the transfer window opens Pink. They are in negotiations with the player, his club and agents as has been reported on here.
