If we are serious about a major overhaul then these are some changes I think would not only benefit us now,but also in the future:
I was one of the people who really got excited when Torres signed,but sadly he's had a year and just doesn't look like he's getting close to his best.
Ins:
Mario Gomez swap deal involving Torres
Modric swap deal involving lampard(who has been a great player for Chelsea,but every players career comes to a point where they just can't do it every week)
Eden hazard £30m
Kevin de bryne £10m(looked a good young player in the games against genk)
I would say the above changes should be made in January,with the addition of a defender,another forward and maybe a winger coming in the summer.
Anelka,drogba,kalou,Alex,malouda,ferriera all leaving by the summer also.Bringing in around £40m in sales.
Regarding the team now I'm really impressed with Sturridge,romeu,ramires,ivanovic and mata.They are the only players I believe justify there place in the team.

Hi Ed just a question concerning Hulk, im pretty much ignoring what Porto and and Hulks agent are saying about the player that a bid of £88m is necessary to buy him. Do you no an actual figure porto would be willing to negotiate at? doesnt matter if Chelsea wouldnt offer that amount.
