A 6 month loan deal for Pato - that's a lot more sensible - let's see if he can cope with the Prem.

Very sensible but why do a club like Chelsea keep doing this. Torres and Falcao had 'gone' as far as being on top of their game albeit their movement was still good but no longer quick of the mark and now we loan a player whose career halted due to hamstring problems and the intensity of PL football will seriously put those to the test.

No doubt they will review the situation in the summer and at that stage take the necessary steps to purchase any attacking players that are needed. There is a chance that Pato could come good, as there was with Falcao. But as we are approaching the last part of the season, then having him on loan, with the view that he might be better than Falcao, I suppose makes sense. Nothing to lose is the view.

Yeah we can move on remy now too as his heart is not with our club anymore. I definitely can't see anything wrong in this deal.

Better than signing him permanently but it's still going to leave us with 3 strikers with major injury problems.

Don't forget traore has played upfront, that's unless he goes out on loan.

Talking about Traore looks like we could be in trouble with Fifa over his transfer,

Can't really see ho traore will get a game, somehow he is not rated by chelsea managers.

Baba Rahman is a left midfielder genuinely. He was turned to left back at Augsburg. To play as full back in Germany is completely different than to do the same thing in England. He is far better in offensive tasks.

I totally agree and said so at the time we bought him, why?
He is quick and crosses an excellent ball but even at Augsburg he could get caught up field out of position and here when I have seen him for Chelsea he hasn't been caught up field but his defensive positioning has been poor and if Ivanovic is having a another bad day the two centre backs are stretched far too much covering. We need a genuine left back and switch Azi back to where he should be.

We shouldn't have spent all this money on Luis and Rahman, should have just gone big for Ricardo Rodriguez.

I still think he could be good for us. Come the summer when Ivanovic are relegated to back-up roles and replaced, we should hopefully be more defensively sound which would allow Rahman a certain amount of latitude defensively.

Jay Da Silva is ready now. We need to play him ASAP.

Never seen da silva play so can't judge him. But i believe that we should try play iva and center back with zouma and azpi and rahman on fullbacks against milton keynes.

One thing that concerns me greatly is the absence of baba Rahman. At the beginning of the season I was very keen to attone his lack of minutes to Jose's love of the other two fullbacks as well as a settling in period for baba. Ivanovic was horrible but baba didn't really get anything like a run of games until bran got injured on international duty. In his limited time he looked rather hit and miss which i felt was expected due to him having to shake off the rest as well as everything going on at the club. Since then he's gone back to being absent and also Jose has been replaced showing the lack of playing time isn't exclusive to one particular manager. Obviously we were purchasing potential in baba but the fact that he isn't capable of getting any minutes is concerning about his current abilities and how much room he has to make up to get to where he needs to be.
