Cech - 7, had almost nothing to do

Azpillicueta - 8, solid all night again. Good link up play going forward, strong in defence. Don't like his diving though

Cahill - 8 1/2, really good game from Cahill. Great positioning on one occasion in particular to play Holt offside.

Ivan - 8 1/2, same as Cahill, had a fairly easy night. Strong in the air, not much got past him.

Cole - 6, was pretty poor in the first half, touch let him down quiet a bit, positioning was questionable, but he grew into the game.

Mikel - 7 1/2, good game, extremely strong on the ball, almost always looking for a forward pass, almost scored an absolute belter in the first half

Luiz - 7 1/2, carefree pretty much sums this bloke up. A little careless on the ball at times, strolling through the middle and losing possession, but his passing was crisp. Both Luiz and Mikel need to track back harder when the opposition counters, far too slow getting back. Still waiting for a couple of his shots to come back down to earth.

Moses - 6 1/2, first half was poor. Heavy touch, sloppy passing but most attacking moves went through Oscar on the left and Mata. Second half was much better but Martin had his number most of the game.

Mata - 8 1/2, our best player on the pitch. Was uncharacteristically sloppy on the ball first 30 mins. Once warmed up a bit, every move went through him. Could've scored a few.

Oscar - 7 1/2, good all round game. Good passing, good tracking back, good dribbling. Had a few lumps kick out of him first 25 minutes, but kept running at defenders.

Torres - 7, he was decent. Wasn't really in the game at all, but didn't drop his head shrug his shoulders and mope which was positive. Worked into the game and was much more involved in the second half.

Lampard - 7 1/2, he was good. Settled the midfield when he came on, as we were beginning to get a little complacent. Passing and link up play was good. Looking increasingly better then he was at the start of the campaign.

Hazard - 6, he didn't want to be on the pitch. Heavy touch, running into defenders, just wasn't his night. Only came on for 10 or so minutes.

Ake - 10, could not fault the kid. Did absolutely nothing wrong during his 4 minutes on the pitch ;-)

Hazard needs to come on in the second half, for oscar,

not that oscar has had a bad game, but hazard offers a lot more

Agree Hazard should come on but definitely not for Oscar. Moses has been rather poor, a very heavy touch, and not making a lot of clever runs. Oscar is offering far more than Moses.

Moses and Mikel weren't that good.

I think that mata and Oscar try to do the same thing when playing together in the front 3 but Moses offers something different albeit of a lesser quality.

Actually Kevin my friend.. Edoo2 was spot on on mata 2 weeks before we signed him, and he said we was interested in azpilicueta way before we signed, also meireles. That's just a few I myself remember. BLUEBOY1

He also told us everyone who was interested in Hazard, told us about Cahill September 2011 about two months before the papers all broke it. Told us we would get Moses and told us Cole and Lampard weren't getting contracts. I've been here a lot longer than you Pinky/KevinCFC, this is approaching my fourth full year. The eds rarely are wrong and they don't need persons like you bickering needlessly with them. If you are so in the know with Michael Duberry, what has he been doing for the past three years lifewise? Wheres he been playing? How does Lampard have inside information (seeing as he is your uniform source "apparently" ) on transfers as a player? He is about as much in the know as the rest of us i expect. The eds have got plently of transfers right. The only thing you have plently of is haters on this site for your contradicting, bickering nature of posts and your random guesses. I'd rather have Curt back.

P.S To every Editor on every page, please just ignore posts from persons like this. I'm sure it bores you having little kids arguing with you because they just can't see that they are wrong and these kind of posts slowly drive regulars away. I only stay here because i like the eds knowledge and some guys are good people with their posts. The majority of posts nowadays are just b*******, negative drivel or guesswork.

What the hell is wrong Kevin? You have gone from a passionate supporter, who tended to have negative views, to a negative tit trying to pick a fight with anyone you can. The editors get almost everything right, hence why they don't give opinions on players signing. They work in facts, and I, for one, am extremely grateful for this.

It is people that act like you are recently that force the regulars (like CFCFOREVER, SHED etc) to stop posting due to your constant whinging and abuse. This site was intended for Chelsea supporters to talk about the club and post if THEY had heard any rumours about possible transfer, not for the Ed's to babysit people and give their opinions or everything you want to know. Wind your neck in mate, cause even I am getting sick of posting on the site due to your f*ckheadedness.
