Playing to whistle is schoolboy stuff and standing and not attacking the ball isn’t ideal, got away with it today. debatabke pen and pen goal. not because our play but Newcastle were so so negative they deserve the loss!

Haha im over the moon that we won but that almost cost us. plus I want Christensen to have a chance., luiz is in there for his passing ability but not always needed, 95% time jorginho is few yards away, but also I’m glad Jamie redknapp has slammed Rafa for those tactics because we got crusified when we set up like that v city.

I’m not at all comfortable with Luiz in a 4 at the back. Liability, if he’s in the side for on theball ability then Christensen is just as good. Didn’t even bother going for the header for the goal.

Rudiger tidied up the few times Newcastle got ball to rondon and one time he needed to switch on defensively he was flat footed, Kovacic is good on ball, makes space presses does everything from midfielder but dunno if he has that killer pass, hard to see as Newcastle has everyone behind ball.

D. Luiz shouldn't have taken any chances with that ball; especially when Luiz knew that the referee might have realised that the penalty he (the referee) awarded against Newcastle was a controversial one. EPL referees always look to balance poor decisions with poor decisions- so as to keep the game under control (I mean that most times when they make a mistake with a bad call against one team, they tend to balance it up with another bad call against the other team.

At first I thought our pen was soft but it was a tackle from behind and got ball but chopped the player who on his feet could still of got shot away. 100% pen, but luiz just seems to have that lapse in concentration,

Whilst I take most press rumours with a pinch of salt the recurring claims that RA is interested in selling the club still keep appearing.
My guess is that the truth is more likely to be that he is looking for a partner to help finance the stadium development.
Do you have any insights about the situation?

Nervously looking forward to todays game. I really hope we'll play with Emerson instead of Alonso today, as I think we need that extra bit of pace. Also hoping that AC will start instead of Luiz - in my eyes he fills out that role just as well.
Think it'll be a pretty tight game, but I think we'll win 3-1.
