I knew Spurs would get a result tonight. It makes Sundays game away at Everton even more important now. We definitely need 3 points because I can see Spurs putting a few past Arsenal.

It was a trvial moment but when Dave chased down a Southampton back pass to there goalkeeper, it changed the atmosphere in the ground.
Its strange how such small things can change a game!

For me he's our most consistent player I love him. He should captain over Luiz and Cahill for me. He's like the Spanish version of Philip Lahm.

I'm afraid he might lose his spot next season. Conte would add some defenders to our squad and him and cahill are likely from day back three. We conceive many goal crosses and set pieces for his lack of heigth. He's more suited to a back four than three. Tbh Moses has been outstanding this season and will remain there. I also would want him to Captain d team after JT though.

I don't agree with his height been an issue . if teams are targetting azpi in a game with a big centre forward then cahill or luiz should be clever enough to keep swapping with azpi if they saw him been targetted . If anyone id drop cahil but his goals ans passion i love. i hate the way he backs off strikers do it drives me mad. can't fault a single chelsea player this season and it will be interesting should me make a signing or 2 who can lose a place in the team cause even players like fabregas and willian who have been in and out have been fantastic when called upon and great attitudes.

Respect to Ryan Bertrand tonight for not celebrating still shows he's got love for the club. Personally don't think he's as good as most make out but I'll always love that performance against Munich.

Or maybe he didn't celebrate cause there wasn't much to celebrate for. A consolation goal was all that was ever going to be. Either way, still like Bertrand seems a decent lady.

We had a glimpse last night albeit a cameo role, of what we will miss when JT goes. Soon as he came on, straight into JT mode, ordering players into position and making sure the line held. We need that sort of character now as we are still looking disorganised at the back especially from crosses. Brighton or Bournemouth should do everything to get his services for a season or two.
