Drogba= Chelsea legend
Torres = shocking
Lampard = Chelsea legend
Meireles = shocking
Funny how the two Liverpool players have been the worst!
Oh yh sorry I forgot Torres "supposedly " works for the team! Sorry forgot that one! Meireles was brought to string passes ain't seen one yet!
How much did we pay for drogba?? How many goals has he scored for us??
Torres brought for how much?? How many goals??
Torres can never play in front of him, until drogba leaves because drogba 50% fit is still more of a threat!
Torres has never been the same since he got injured at liverpool some players just never come back from certain injuries and he's one!
Fed up with all these blind chelsea fans just be honest he's s##t!!! And meireles !!

Sign your post if your sick of 'all these blind Chelsea fans'.
Drogba = does not care about the club anymore just wants CL glory
Torres = lost all confidence but puts 110% for the team and would have to be one of our top assist getters (bought for goals but atleast he is contributing)
Lampard = has lost his love for the shirt. Only has big games when JT is playing and making sure he stays alert
Meirelles = shocking :)
You are trying to compare 2 players that were purchased 7 years apart. Within the period the highest amout paid for a player went from around $30m to $80m. Torres is not worth $50m, Roman just splashed that because he loves the bloke. It wasn't your money so why should it matter what he costs to you? Yes we expected more goals from him but if and when he comes good I hope your crawl back to your hole.
Fed up with all these no name posters that can't see past stats and actually watch games to see who is performing and who is playing for the club and the fans.
I'm sick of these fans that are happy for players to live off their reputations. Frank is a club legend so is Didier but they are not on as high a petistool (spelling) in my eyes as they were 12 months ago.

You are having a laugh mate, lampard and drogba may be legends at chelsea, but to be honest, they have been far worse than torres.

Nt being funny but the poster is a duck, we dont we play the right formation 4 torres , no creativity in mid field no decent right winger well one tht doesnt pass, , i havent seen torres get a through ball passed through a defence for atleast his last 8 games apart from leicster. drogba only turns up when he feels

Dear Mr./Mrs Original poster
we wouldnt mind if fans like you had enough of chelsea and would rather support liverpool or arsenal.good riddance i say

You pillock! Whoever wrote the first post is obviously watching something different to the rest of us. Drogba has done some great things for Chelsea in the past but is way past it. To say he is more of a threat than Torres is a joke. Ok so Torres isn't scoring as much as we'd all like but he does assist well and at least he runs. When did you last see the donkey break a sweat? The only thing in your post i agree with is that Meireles in a Chelsea shirt is embarassing!

i believe the reason for our poor showing in the league this year is down to players not caring for next year.they knew they were out the title race before christmas.so they gave up.the fa cup and champs league is still up for grabs so they are still going for it.
The worst Players this year have been malouda,cole,lampard,drogba,essien,mikel ,kalou and last but not least the mighty bosingwa.
All of who are either out of contract leaving or have no real future at the club.
With this in mind they dont care whetehr we are in cl next year or not, because they wont be playing in it anyway,Its not there fault entirely its human nature to take your foot off the pedal when you know its the end.
But strangely enough our best performances have been in the cl this year,home and away to valencia and napoli have been our best performances to date.
The one thing the aboved mentioned will probably never get the chance to win again is the cl.
Its the one trophy that has eluded the formentioned above players there whole career.
they want to go out of chelsea with a cl medal for themselves not the future of the club BUT THEMSELVES.
lampard cole and essien kicked up stink after being dropped for the cl game against napoli,did they do the same when dropped for league matches no why bcoz its not that important to them anymore.napoli away i thought for the 25 mins in second half was the best we have played all season until they got the 3rd which killed the game
they need to get out and get new blood in but i dont understand our interest in players when we havent got a manager at the minute

Gareth mate, the managers have little control when it comes to our transfer dealings. I haven't understood it for years.

Your talking rubbish the worst players we had this year has to be Torres the guy that supposedly works for the team , meireles , drogba but it don't matter that he had a bad season because he's been prolific for years for us but the two from Liverpool have been nothing short of s@@t!!

One thing I will say is regardless of finish, many players need to go. The thing that has angered me above all else this season is the inconsistent level of effort from our players from game to game. That to me is absolutely inexcusable. Just because you don't see eye to eye with the manager or are cranky due to lack of playing time, you can never slack off. If the players would have played every game this season like they have under RDM then qualification for the champions league wouldn't even be a concern. I'm not saying we have to get Napoli/Valencia performances every week but some times I honestly wonder if they really want to play or not. I can deal with players losing their ability but slacking off will never be ok with me. Thats why regardless of how the season ends the likes of drogba and lampard must go. I realize both are "club legends" but do club legends really put themselves before the team? No. That is all.

I know this might sound a little nuts but what do you guys think about us using the napoli formation 5-3-2
bosingwa - cahill - terry - luiz - cole
Essien - ramires
Mata
Drogba - Torres
we all know bosingwa cant defend even if his life depended on it but we can still exploit his attacking mindset,luiz can make his forward runs without fear of getting caught on the counter.essien holding and ramires as our box to box midfielder.mata can provide creative force down the middle and provide for both torres and drogs.the front two if they move right can open up space for one another or for mata/ramires to explode into the box.
Just an opinion based on the players we currently have.any thoughts guys?

Its a possibility but we just don't have the players over the back 5 to cover for injuries. (Bosingwa is considered to be injured every time he steps on the pitch, injured in the head).
Although we dont have players currently that can cross a ball, alot of our play goes wide. We don't yet have the ability to break teams down through the middle in my opinion.
Anything is worth a crack atm though aL.
Anyone else starting to consider Newcastle a threat to our league position?

Hmmmm..... What puzzles me is that RDM said before that he would be happy with a draw. Then we get that draw and he says ' top four is unlikely ' - I'm confused Jm10

How does it work when we approach a new manager? As i understand it, both Mourinho and Guardiola are out of contract at the end of the season, so why can't we approach them 3 months before the end of their contract, like your can a player. Also papers report it would cost a large fee to get both the managers, but again I don't see how this is possible if they are out of contract. Would one of the Eds please clear this up for me?
Dave {Ed002's Note - Mourinho is not out of contract and Guardiola will probably renew.}

a lot of people on here saying who we should sell and buy, but what i would like to know is, who should we keep. for me lampard, torres, ivanovic, terry, david luiz, mata, cahill, ramires and sturridge, also, we should give some more opportunities to some of our promising youngsters such as mceachran, lukaku, de bruyne and piazon. obviously we are in need of some new blood, i would like to see us buy higuain, azpilicueta, lucas moura, javi martinez and di maria, it would take a lot of money to get them, but i feel if we are going to have any chance of winning anything we need to make it happen.
your thoughts are appreciated

Sorry i forgot to mention, we should also keep kakuta rather than send him out on loan, he is exactly what we are missing. oriol romeu should also be given more opportunities.

Really i don't know what malouda is doing in the team while kakuta is being not consider for playing...i really wonder we should show some more courage to give the chance to the younger player. {Ed002's Note - Kakuta is on loan at Dijon and therefore not available to be picked.}
Agree1

Ed002:That's what i want to say why give them on loan when we can use them and plz don't they are not ready...if we do not give them the chance how they can gel with the first team...and if the seniors players are consistently performing bad still why they deserve the place in the first team...if this junior player makes mistakes they will learn from them...i hope we can see a lot more of young blood next season...!!Chelsea for life. {Ed002's Note - Kakuta would not have been used at Chelsea. He is on loan to get experience, the same with McEachran.}
