Just imagine if we had this team we wud b better than barca and if torres cant score in this team he should retire cech maicon terry luiz cole modric pastore moutinho neymar torres hulk this team would be class full of pace skill craft and vision .they call moutinho the Portugal xavi. modric and pastore would play the inesta role both wide forwards have pace and we all know what a fit sharp torres can do i would love to see this team play barca its like a mirror then we would win the champs lge and play the type of football roman craves i no you might think its a bit weak but like barca we would be to clever and quick for teams .this could be the start for us the same as when cruyff went to barca he made his dream team they won the champs lge he set a standard and thats why barca are so good to day that was the start of the project and id love it if our new manager came here built his dream team and started us off playing silky football the youngsters would benefit also as the team would play football not try and over power teams and bully teams .then we would be set up for life oh well i can dream cant i

Modric is just an average player, he's not good enough for chelsea.

Modric is better than the robots we have at the moment and if torres/henderson /downing are going for that type of money he is worth 35 million in to days market pay up or get left behind plus how come every season we say our squad is fine i dont see us wining champs lges and we just came off the back of the worst season since roman came so are we ok are we hell every 1 around us is getting stronger and our dead wood is getting older i want us to be the best in the world so before any of u say our teams good enough compare it to united barca madrid and even city so in my view we are not good enough all im saying is lets not be bias lets be real and say our team dont play attractive football and are to old then sort it out and maybe then next year were be ok (ps) i love chelsea and always shouts louder than all the posh folk around me i bounced my mortgage for to months to watch the blues a couple of years back i wouldnt do it now not with these old age pensioners thens theres mikel and kalou and malouda yep looks like every things fine NOTTT

I hope reports are correct, that we are going to sign pastore. that hopefully will end the speculation of getting modric, who at best is just above average in the premier.
After that, i hope we are going to buy some width.
The rest of the squad, inclusive of the youngsters ( i hope they get some proper game time), is good enough to contest all domestic competition's.
Only time will tell if AVB can motivate them in the CL.

Well, I agree with your opinion on Modric, but have a tough time agreeing with the 2nd half of your comment. Did you not watch us last season? We are not good enough to contest for anything other than the FA Cup at the moment. In case you haven't noticed, the other top Prem. clubs have improved their squads through purchases.

Can everyone stop asking stupid questions or rumours that we have all read in the Metro Please. So what if we don't sign anyone, does that mean we can't win the prem? Most of the time football is about motivation, a good manager can rejuvenate a player. Easy boyz no panic btw have always believed Carlo got lucky in his first season, he's not a good motivator.
