It makes me absolutely sick every time I watch Salah and De Bruyne play now because they're so good and Mourinho ruined them. Lukaku doesn't bother me as he's a goal scorer but an average player. Imagine Salah and Hazard on either wing now with De Bruyne next to Kante and someone else in a 4-3-3 wow 😮 we'd be unstoppable.

{Ed0333's Note - I’d be sick if I’d let both of those go also. But some players come to fruition later than desired. Thierry Henry was a slow burner and look what happened there. Believe me mate a lot of Liverpool fans were nonplussed about Salah and wanted Brandt but lucky for us Salah hit the ground running. You’ve had some great players in recent history so don’t be too disappointed.

Salahhhhhhh and De Bruyne- 2 players that put a hole in my heart each time I them play. Salah was awesome last night, you can easily name him as one of the top 3 players in the world.

Can be a bit hard to watch sometimes, KDB had a pretty impressive pre season and even started the opening game of the season before being sold, no idea why we sold him. Lukaku was out on loan and banging them in for West Brom and Everton don’t no why we sold him. Salah is a strange one because don’t think anyone seen this coming tbh, think he was loaned out before being sold. Maybe if we start putting buy back options in their contracts like Barcelona we would be ok. Watching them do so well should teach chelsea to maybe give the fringe players more of a chance.

The thing is that when we sold KDB and Lukaku, everyone was cheering Chelsea for making such good business in selling players for much more than we bought them for. And it was no doubt good business. We got a very, very high amount of money for Lukaku especially, and I'm sure that if the prices hadn't gone so mad like they've done the past two seasons, we'd still be applauded for those deals, but nowadays the deals aren't quite as impressive. Also, those players would've never gotten close to as good as their current level if they hadn't left. We can regret not putting buy-back clauses in the deals now, and it's a HUGE shame, but hopefully we'll learn from our mistakes, as I believe we already have, as I think (although not sure) taht Ake, Traore and hopefully more of the young players we've sold recently, have such buy-back clauses.

@Blinky, Mourinho didn't give them chance because as usual they weren't defensive enough to play for him. When they complained he made them look unprofessional and sanctioned their sales. I remember KDB saying Mourinho never told him why he wasn't playing and as such decided to leave. Salah much like the same.
Mou never build a team but his CV. He will soon do such sales @ United with Martial, Shaw, etc. He has a way of demonise players that he doesn't want and end up selling them on the cheap.

Think it’s more the style of football that gets best out of them and is hard to watch while we are slow in attack and usually set up negative.

Yea Matt Martin, Klopp and Guardiola's philosophy brings out the best in attacking players.

I knowed Ed it’s sickening though isn’t it? Salah was the player on the right who was left footed is what we needed. He was our Robben replacement but we never gave him that chance. We definately need someone like Leon Bailey on the right side.

{Ed0333's Note - sorry for the late reply mate I’m still reeling from Jose’s comments absolving himself from selling Salah when he was at Chelsea lol.

I regret Mourinho's second coming to the bridge after watching players he sold/ made us sell during the period. A coach that can't figure out how good Salah, KDB, etc are.
Mourinho is a short term coach who only assemble proven and very expensive players and turn around to blame everything but himself when things go wrong but quickly claim glory if turns good.
I can bet on Mourinho leaving Man U regardless of what trophy he won because you can't endure his style if it's not winning. Any big team wouldn't want to win anyhow but respectedly.
