Hi Ed002, i have read that Denisov is unhappy with the wage structure at Zenit with the new signings Hulk and Witsel earning over double what he and other senior players are earning. Apparently he said he will move in Jan if they continue to make him train with the reserves.
Do you know if Chelsea are monitoring this situation, or any other clubs for that matter? I think he is what we need in midfield: a strong tackler with a good eye for a pass. Simple but effective, in the Makelele mould. Thanks.
Tim {Ed002's Note - No, this is just grizzling over the past couple of days.}

I have watched him for the last 4 or 5 years. Think he is a great player. Would have him at chelsea!

Van persie is 29. I dont think man u or any body else is thinking he is a waste of money, not when he is top goalscorer at the end of the season. How old is snjieder? Wouldnt mind him though, would you? Its stupid to pay big money for older players, but at 29, you can get 4 years out of a player. Possibly more!

'Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo is expected to make wholesale changes to the side that beat Stoke on Saturday.
Cesar Azpilicueta, Victor Moses, Marko Marin and Lucas Piazon may all make their first starts for the club.'
This is from BBC Sport, team news for tomorrow's game. Hope it's true - would be great if Rom got a run out too!
Turnbull - Azpi, Ivan, Cahill, Bert - Romeu, Lamps - Moses, Piazon, Marin - Sturridge.
This line up in a 4-2-3-1 would be great in my opinion - bare in mind we are going to the Emirates on Sunday where i think only 3 of those 11 are potential starters for that game (Ivan, Cahill and Lamps). Also, it would easily beat Wolves - and a comfortable win is what we need!
Thoughts guys, and also suggestions for where to watch it online? Thanks

Agree aswell except I'm not sure Lamps is a potential starter in the pivot next to Rami against the gunners, probably need need better defensive cover.

Don't hold me to this but I think Sturridge is injured so Moses will play up top.

when looking on Chelsea compared to most other "top" teams in the PL it looks like we are doing something vey very wrong imo. we keep playing the same players every week, we do not have the benched people play sometimes and that mostly mean they wil get bored and leave to another club.
I really think this is a problem in the long end. Piazon, Romeu, sturridge, Lukaku(when he was here) and so on, i really think its self destructive move and it wil increase the young players devolopment and in worst case leave. Im not saying you should play all of them against ManU but im sure we dont need the strongest team we can make against the weaker teams in PL, and see the new/younger people in action and make them improve while resting the usual players.
What do you guys think about this?

Every top club has a starting 11, its just that some have an embarrassment of riches at some positions like Manc and Manutd at striker so they can be a little flexible. However, I agree with u of the need to play more squad players when we can. We have cup comps, 3 subs for matches not in doubt and if by Feb/march we find ourselves 10 to 15 points clear then we could start our sqaud players against lesser teams.

Just wanted to see if anyone else noticed this but we all know that we got criticised for Playing counter attacking football at the end of last season. Has anyone noticed that Manchester city done the same thing against real Madrid and I haven't heard anyone criticise them?
It's a joke they may of won the premier league but we are the champions of Europe.
