With the players we have available out on loan coupled with an already talented squad and a crop of promising academy players I truly think we only need to focus on a new spine to the team. Given Courtois will stay (hopefully), we need a world class, experienced centre back, central midfielder and striker (assuming, as looks likely, Costa leaves) . We won't be in the Champions league so the likes of Pogba etc will not join us. Loanee returns like Ake could play left back, Zouma and/ or Christiansen (if we can terminate his 2 year loan early) can play alongside a new Top Centre back. Dave at right back, Pasalic, Baker, Ruben to compete with Cesc etc for a place alongside a Top central midfielder and Kenedy, Musunda to compete with Willian etc out wide. That leaves Solanke and Traore to compete with one or two Top new strikers. Stones, Vidal and Zlaten would be my realistic choices. Thoughts?

It ultimately comes down to our club instilling ideals that it is unacceptable to not integrate youngsters into the squad. This past weekend game really showed me that we aren't doing that at the moment. Remy started over Traore, again Ruben was on the bench. I'd even go as far as to say that we need to see what we have in baba before we eliminate him from the picture. Until the club takes this action we will continue to not integrate players.

I believe it all will depend on Conte and the plan which club will give him. Either it will be to build a squad from youngters with few senior additions or build his own team through spending a lot.
