Just my own personal opinion I hope the rumours of us looking to spend 40 million plus on Morata are untrue. If we are going to play with two strikers I really think either Lacazette or Batshuayi would be far better options and cheaper.

Agree about Morata - don't understand the furor surrounding him. Light-weight, not good enough for Juve or Madrid, unimpressive goal-scoring record when able to get a game. Would love Batshuyi and Lukaku.

He has very good touch and can get behind the other teams defense easily. Meanwhile Lukaku doesn't have the touch of most of our academy players. While I do like Batshuayi, I'm concerned that he was able to exploit his superior athleticism in a league no better than the Eredevisie. Each player offers certain attributes and none of them are anywhere close to the finished product.

I like the idea of Morata joining. I don't particularly want Lukaku back and Batshuayi looks like a similar player to Lukaku (haven't seen too much of him) so again unsure. I hope it isn't a case of one of these guys or Costa though as I believe Costa is a far superior striker and I actually like his fire despite the fact it can cause problems. Our problem last season was that we didn't have adequate cover for Costa, all we had was a bunch of strikers who had forgotten how to play football.

None of these guys are on Costas level presently but all project to be as good or better than him in the future. Batshuayi is the best athlete of the bunch, while he isn't as strong as lukaku he moves around much easier. I wouldn't classify Batshuayi or Morata as target men but they're both 185cm or taller which demands respect.

Morata's scoring record isn't the best but he hasn't really played in the centre too much. For the most part he's played on the right for Juve and never really had much of a chance with Real. Overall though I expect he'll head back to Juve though.
Completely unrealistic but I'd swap Costa for Dybala.
