Tbh i do seen robbie giving the likes of McEachran and piazon and the rest of them a chance this season purely because he gave ryan bertrand his champions league debut in the final? Do you guys agree?

Man utd players think there at old trafford ,win any way you can dive,,dive..dive!!!

Agree4 Disagree0

Just got my mate to tell me what happened because i refuse to watch jordan henderson do f**k all again

real shocker we lost on penalties

ashley cole did not deserve his to be saved, he must have the most bruised body in football the amount of times he throws himself infront of the ball

curt

Agree4 Disagree6

He has no alternatives except phil jones, we missed wilshere, lamps, barry. i wish even carrick accepted the standy-by option.

Agree3 Disagree0

Don't forget Kyle walker darren bent and Micah Richards. Ron hodgsons fascination with pool players is rather intriguing.

Tk

Agree0 Disagree2

They should of got redknapp atleast he would of taken players worth taking

curt

Agree0 Disagree5

I see some people have already turned there back on mr hodgson and no im not made of plastic or a liverpool fan

it seems marin, hulk, hazard are definately main targets for us at the moment but also we must think about moses and others but as these transfers come in we have to make tough desicions; it seems to be lampard will be leaving in a year or so kalou malouda bosingwa and ferreira hope fully to be sold with these new signings this could be the new and improved line-up
torres
hazard mata hulk
marin mereiles ramires moses
essien or mikel
cole terry luis ivanovic
cech
what a line up
please send me your thoughts and recommendations on this . David L {Ed018's Note - when is the last time you have actually read up on any Chelsea news? Marin and Hazard have agreed to join Chelsea. Kalou and Bosingwa have been released by the club}

Believable0 Unbelievable7

Have you got 14 players in your line up? i think we would do well to get that past the ref.

Agree5 Disagree0

Haha i as thinking that. 14 players! wow, ur clever

Agree0 Disagree0

Kalou nd bosingwa have already left also hazard and marin have already signed. And mate this aint rugby there is only 11 men in a team.

Atletico have said that Falcao is not for sale! Previously Cavani has stated his desire to remain at Napoli, and Fiorentina have said Jovetic isn't for sale.

That eliminates some then for now although that probably won't stop everyone asking the questions!

If we can't get those, who are peoples choices of a Striker? I would like to see Schurrle or Lewandowski

Rich

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Llorente or Hutelaar for me. MB

Agree1 Disagree2

Llorente would be a good option

i wouldnt mind schlurre or to be honest demba ba

Hopefully Torres hits form and Lukaku can step in a grab a few.

If Chelsea were to buy Battersea Power Station and converted it into a new stadium would they keep the name battersea or change it to something else.
Any idea ed? {Ed002's Note - Off the table right now.}

I expect the name will be the last thing they think of

I would love Chelsea to aquire Fellaini, Hulk and Lewandowski. Along with the imminent arrivals of Marin and Hazard I think that would be great business. We would have a strong, well balanced, versatile squad of players with a nice blend of youth and experience. KTBFFH CFC-Gav

Believable2 Unbelievable2

dont need lewandowski hes a bit over rated hes only got one foot and considering we have interest in falcao and cavani and have a torres who is gettin better by the game

What about a swap deal for Bale? Give them Sturridge plus £20 million... Win, win for all parties, especially of avb is spurs manager.
MB

Believable3 Unbelievable0

I just dont see the point of bale we have too many left sided players and i cant see bale playing on the right

i think bales just too much about pace and too one footed to play on the right

curt

Agree3 Disagree9

We dont need bale, mata, hazard, marin, malouda. dont you want de bruyne & kakuta to have a chance

Agree2 Disagree1

Hazard plays on the right just as much as he plays on the left. De Bruyne is no where near ready to be tarting for us; he should be loaned out. I don't feel that Kakuta will ever be good enough. Malouda won't get much game time next season, however I think we should keep him for the experience he adds to the squad. People have to understand that the three behind the striker aren't going to be locked in their position they are going to have the freedom to roam and swap with each other. Plus if we go rid of Sturridge it would allow us o bring in a back up striker without him moaning on the bench. MB

Agree3 Disagree1

You talk alot of sense to be honest MB

i personally wouldnt want bale though just my opinion

apparently hes willing to stay at spurs for another year anyway

curt

Agree1 Disagree7

We both have strong opinions Curt. I respect that. MB

Agree0 Disagree2

People are far to greedy, shows fans do not care about our own youth. how do you know ther nt ready. i bet my life onit if we used kakuta from 2010 onward he would have a 30 million price tag

Agree1 Disagree1

Mate, De Bruyne was playing in the Belgian League, not exactly the same as the prem. We have seen how useful a loan for Courtois was so in fact in trying to help their progress not hinder it. Loan de Brutne to a championship side or Southampton then he will play more and therefore progress more. I also agree that if we had trusted in Kakuta earlier then he would be a much better player now, however the reality is that we didn't and he has now missed a vital part of his development. The loan to Bolton wasnt beneficial for him; Chelsea should have not loaned him out. We got to bolster out first team as I'm sorry but the likes of De Bruynd and Kakuta won't compare to City's first team next season. A much more realistic prospect for first team football next year would be Piazon. MB

Agree1 Disagree0

Yer i think we got off on the wrong foot MB mate not saying i completely disagree with you as you do make some really good points

unamed kakuta 30 mill thats a bit extreme its not that we dont want to give them the chance its more the fact we have to big of games to put all the trust in the youth

curt

Agree1 Disagree5

Sorry MB but you think Piazon, a bloke who hasn't played a senior game will get in the team ahead of 2 that have both played senior footy and one on a regular basis. De Bruyne will be loaned to Southampton but Piazon currently is too lightweight to play regular football in the EPL. I agree that he is an exceptional talent but we can not afford to hinder his progress with injury.

Melbourne CFC

Agree0 Disagree2

Piazon is six foot and built like Kaka; unlikely he is going to get injured especially after playing in the reserve and youth league unscaved. De Bruyne on the other hand had last season littered with injuries. Look at Mata playing the most games for us last season...

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes but when you look at Mata since playing his first game for Chelsea he had also been capped at a successful World Cup for Spain and played regularly for Valencia for years.

Piazon is very much Kaka-esque but the key part of the sentence is the esque. If Lucas was ready for senior football I would've expected him to get a run. Next year the youth team is in the NextGen Series and I fully expect Lucas to shine (age permitting).

You only have to look across the Prem to see how many 19yo are getting a run at the bigger clubs. Wilshire - got seriously injured. Jones - much bigger frame then Lucas, and although in a rougher position on the pitch got a few niggles last year.

There is too much risk verse reward and I am confident this will be the view of Chelsea. I fully expect him to get a few run outs but nothing major next spell.

our problem is we dont like playing youngsters regulary (regarding josh piazon etc)

hopefully roberto will see the capital cup as a chance for youngsters to get expierence

curt

Believable3 Unbelievable6

We've only had piazon since January, and the second half of last season was the most important in recent history, so I have to disagree with that. But this coming season I'd like to see the youth get some mickey mouse cup games

Rich

Agree3 Disagree1

Last season Avb fielded very young teams in the, then, league cup. MB

Agree1 Disagree1

You can't just throw all the youngsters in the team at once.

Agree1 Disagree1

Fair comment there having said that roberto was brave enough to start bertrand against munich

but your right id like to see them play in the mickey mouse cup a bit like arsenal did 2 years ago gave the carling cup/capital cup to the youngsters

curt

Agree1 Disagree7

To rich, we havent brought anyone through since JT apart from bertrand that is piss poor.

Agree2 Disagree0

But the other problem guys is that its easy saying "yh play josh, piazon, lukaku, hutchinson, romeu" etc etc in the league cup but say we get man u in the 3rd round and get knocked out? thats just one game. some need to be on the bench in my opinion against the "bottom 10" teams (obviously this all changes) so that if we are winning 2/3-0 after 60 minutes, we can just bring them on and not worry if they make a mistake

Vincent

Agree2 Disagree0

I cant work out if your saying bertrand is piss poor or if the lack of youngsters coming through is piss poor

if its bertrand thats piss poor then i dont think u have seen him play

curt

Agree0 Disagree5

Let's hope McEachran, Chalobah and Bertrand (apologies if I've missed anyone) can all come through in the next few years so we spend less money because some of the players people want on this website is crazy

Rich

Rich

Agree1 Disagree0

Arsenal threw them in the team for the carling cup 2/3 years ago and got to the semi finals im talking about the capital cup not league games and to be honest when we qualify for through the group stages of champions league youngsters should play the remaining group games

unamed did i just see you call bertrand piss poor ?? please tell me you meant its piss poor the lack of youth we brought through

I've just noticed that bookies have Edinson Cavani as hot favorite to be a Chelsea player by the end of the summer transfer window. It therefore strikes me as surprising that no posts about this player have been made recently.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

I posted yesterday about him, get your facts right mate

Agree0 Disagree1

Its a way of them making money off you go put 20 pound on it

curt

Agree3 Disagree6

It's because of how well he played against us.

Lucas Villafáñez is on his way to the Bridge according to my source in south America. Lucas Villafáñez will transfer from Independiente FC for £22 million early next week. Chelseas reps have thrashed out a deal that will see the young attacking midfielder earn around £55k per week on a 4yr contract. However work permit issues may arise but an appeal should see him arrive by July. at 20 years old he has a similar style to Riquelme and his vision and technique has been tearing defenses apart this year. Watch this space

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Thats no source you just copied and pasted that from somewhere

Obviously I'm a fool to question a manager of del bosques tout but I can't for the life of me understand why you put fabregas in the striker slot. I'm not gonna sit here and say Torres is getting hosed not to play but he at least adds a threat over the top and stretches the field. You could watch today France's defense played so high because they didn't respect Spain's ability to get behind them. I understand if you dont think Torres deserves a spot but he and llorente both offer something different while fabregas offers the same as xavi, Alonso, silva, and iniesta. I hope Vincente saw the same things I did today and makes a change. When you look at Bruno alves and pepe you have two of the least mobile centre halfs left in the tournament and Torres could easily get behind them.

Tk

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Pepe? Immobile? Please tell me you didn't put that

Agree3 Disagree0

Yet they still win, must be doing something right

curt

Agree1 Disagree6

He may be mobile but hes clumsy and there's no arguing that.

Can't say I really care about Spain, as long as England are still in!
