Holidays theatre days out grandchildren. It all comes second to a day at Stanford bridge, that's how important my club is.

RIP lord Attenborough

Glad someone posted this and nice to have that quote. Richard Attenborough was a director, lifelong Chelsea fan and by all accounts a thoroughly decent man -- oh, and with not a bad record in the entertainment industry. It was wonderful to have him associated with the club who I am sure will mark his passing in appropriate fashion -- perhaps applause more appropriate than silence. He will be missed.

seen yestedays poll was that 88% would be happy to see salah leave and becoming sick and tired of buying young TALENTED players but them never making it because we buy an older player for 30million and stop young players from fufilling there potential

{Ed008's Note - But he's not good enough? No old player has been bought to replace him Schurrle and Willian are competing for that position thus leaving Salah out as Hazard is never going to be dropped.

It's annoying that his development seems to be stunted but he should never have been bought really. He has the potential to be a good player but with no game time he won't achieve this and he won't be picked ahead of Schurrle and Willian except on the odd occasion.

Worth 1.5 x Luiz

but he could have been good I mean how many players have chelsea developed fully compared to say arsenal I mean look at ramsey for example you think he would be at the same stage playing for chelsea

No Ramsey probably wouldn't be at the same stage. But how long did Arsenal go without a trophy? They were also under strict financial constraints which meant that they had to rely on their academy/youth.

Did anyone notice how much more direct Willian was yesterday, usually gives and goes but was going at players yesterday

I did, think he has finally realised what his game lacked last season. Good for him and for us cause I think the competition for places is really bring out the best in everyone that's another reason why I feel we really have to push for another striker, so Costa knows he can't get complacent. Another striker and maybe a cmf wouldn't go amiss. Striker first though. Teams is looking good shout out to Oscar, Thibaut who I think is amazing and Brana five star performances. Come on you blues.

P.S. how good does Fabregas look. Really impressed.

I don't think we really have to worry about Costa becoming complacent. He's had to work hard and earn everything throughout his career. He didn't really have a lot of competition for his place last year and still fought hard on the pitch.

Personally, I still want a physical midfielder coming in to match up with the elite teams. In those games winning the midfield battle is very important and I'm afraid with Matic and Fabregas that won't be easy.
Just my two cents, but I'd welcome Pogba with open arms (Carvalho as well).

I am starting to believe Mourinho that Chelsea ended summer transfer window.

All depends if we can get a buyer for Torres, so doubtful but if his froze out team how long until he takes that pay cut, Italy, athletico or Valencia maybe
