Who would you guys like to see brought in striker wise over the summer? For me, if we're keeping the same formation then I would like us to go for Cavani and Baloteli. Just think these 2 can hold the ball well and have a good long shot on them too. Better at making something out of nothing.
If we're looking at going to 4-3-3 the lavezzi and Costa would be my choice. As they have both got pace and terrific in the box. Just my opinion, would be good to hear others opinions. Also ed18 feel free to have your say.

Balotelli IMO can be great but more often than not his lazy bad attitude and can be a complete and utter brat who likes to dive. Jose could control him but it would be a waste of time and effort,

If love to see falcao, his player who is most like aguero and Suarez, finshing dribbling, movement pace and skill, just think way we play we will want the costa cavani type player who is strong and can hold up, Lavezzi would be brilliant, and with a 4231 him wide could have hazard as no10,

Agree0 Disagree0

If same formation Cavani and Lukaku, if 4-3-3 then Costa and Rooney! Just my opinion!

Agree0 Disagree0

In all honesty I think Cavani is woeful at holding up the ball. His touch is pretty poor plus his passing is erratic to say the least. His game is mainly reliant on running in behind defenses hence why he was so successful at Napoli in a counter attacking team. Having said that he has great movement in the box and is a poacher.

Agree0 Disagree0

Falcao might not be the same after his injury. His pace will probably be affected by it. Costa is great but he's only had one good season. Cavani would probably be my first choice. With Costa 2nd. Ideally both or Cavani and Lavezzi.

I think Cavani would suit us more as we play counter attacking football, and we need a striker who will mainly stay in the box. Far too often this season we've gotten into an advanced position to put a cross in and Torres/Eto'o are out on the wing or on the edge of the box.

Tony cascarino thinks the likes of Kalas, Ake and Christensen will start on Sunday ed is this true?

They've got good potential but putting them against Suarez is abit harsh.

His team was:

Schwarzer, Kalas, Christensen, Matic (CB), Ake; Van Ginkel, Mikel, Lampard; Salah, Ba, Schurrle.

That's still a good side in my opinion but I'd like to see Ivanovic come in to CB instead of Matic and move nemanja to CM. Branna had a rest midweek so he should be up for it.

{Ed002's Note - Looks fine to me and I would certainly think they will all be in the squad. Christensen is seen to be an outstanding talent as is Ake. Perhaps Baker, Feruz and Loftus-Cheek on the bench.}

God I hope we play these players, show we have done young talent, not bothered about score really just asking as it's not a thumping 5-0 6-0

Agree0 Disagree0

My word, I'd love it if Loftus-Cheek played on Sunday, and Baker as well. It'd be great to see a couple of youngsters get a chance, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

Agree0 Disagree0

Would love to see MVG back. But I think he might even play in the CL.
I'd want a line-up like this
Schwarzer, Cole, Christensen, Kalas, Azpi, Lamps, Matic, Mikel, Salah, Schurrle, Ba.
Maybe switch Cole out. Azpi has the stamina to play pretty much every game.

I am a massive fan of Jose, but I wish he could stop trying to be controversial. To save him from himself, don't talk to the press. Forget about how poor the current batch of referees are, and they are poor. Just do what you are brilliant at which is managing the team, and winning trophies and upsetting the odds.
Otherwise the adverse publicity will continue to dribble on, and much as we may not like it some of his poor publicity is attaching itself to the club.

The Refereeing wasn't poor when Robyn and Drogba were winning you pens every ten minutes. Does Jose excuses spread throughout the fans as well?
I don't know how you can complain, you guys have been the beneficiaries of many decisions, never mind how your back room staff behaved last weekend and the less said about Ramirez the better. Good luck next week.

Agree0 Disagree0

The refereeing was especially poor when Liverpool visited the bridge. But you don't complain about the refs when they give Chelsea a leg-up, right?

Is Mourinho still planning on getting all his targets in early? I hope to see Mandzukic and Pogba added definitely.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed002's Note - I would not hold your breath.}

PSG is about to pay 70m€ for Pogba. They're also ready to offer ridicules summ of money for Eden Hazard.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed is it I wouldn't hold your breath because jose won't be here next season

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - All the half-wits seem to be out today.}

Ed I ask because u didn't reply to my question the other day! So u think jose will stay. Some chelsea fans are worried he will go we will like your view that's all.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - There is not even the slightest thought about that at this time.}

Though I would post who I would go for if I were in charge of chelsea transfers, also who I would get rid of:

Inn:

Fabregas
Cavani
Varane
Shaw
Imbula
Lukaku

Out:

Torres
Ba
Eto
Mikel
Cole
Lampard
Ramires
Moses
Luiz

If possible other alternatives Costa, Vidal, Kroos, Rakitic.

What are other peoples in and outs? Do you agree?

The club have made it clear they will not sign Shaw due to the fee being asked and Ed has made it clear Lukaku will be sold unless he apologies to the club so those two can be removed from the list

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - It is nothing to do with Lukaku needing to apologise. It is far beyond that. Chelsea are putting a significant effort in to wrapping up a deal for Moreno with further talks taking place in Seville on Tuesday morning this week.}

If you don't mind my asking............

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - It is not a matter for discussion.}

No problem, thanks anyway.

Agree0 Disagree0

In reply to Jose_knows, Shaw's asking price may be too high at the moment but who knows what will happen to the asking price if Manchester United interest falls away when new manager comes in. I still think there might still be a possiblity. Regarding Lukaku I know Ed002 has said that he will more than likely leave this summer he did also say that an ex player was trying to help sort whatever the problem is. I certainly believe that there is a bigger chance of an already chelsea owned player stating than signing Pogba for instance.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea are negotiating a price over another left back as I have explained.
