Carlo now Napoli manager, It's like transfer window all over again we all want Sarri but club looking st Enrique, disaster when door is open for a manager like Sarri who would need to reign in his opinions but plays the football we need, doesn't get involved in transfers and is available for nothing, and would possibly bring Napoli players with him .

If Sarri can provide assurances that he won't say something stupid, I wouldn't mind seeing him come in.

I agree Matt, trust our club to go with the opposite And appoint Enrique. Hoping torn Sarri, want a different brand of football.
{Ed0333's Note - there is a difference in sensibility and culture between the UK and Italy. Some things Sarri has gotten away with saying in Italy canβt and wonβt be tolerated here in the UK. Chelsea is a world brand and if Sarri said something mysognystic or discriminatory not only does the football club suffer but the sponsors associated with your football club also.

Matt we are already hated by media it would be a disaster in my eyes
Racist sexist comments are definitely not what we need the media would slaughter us
I don't want Enrique either he's hardly long term is he but might be more expansive in his play
I will get absolutely slaughtered but what about benitez for a year until maybe someone like Jody or Frank are ready
Or wait until champions league final and if real lose get zz
Prefer this to starting or Enrique
Plus Matt if we got our ideal manager and transfers and did the quadruple next year do you think you would say something positive then lol.

He personally assured me that won't say stupid things at Chelsea π. Professionalism without character is tantamount to nothing; but I guess most times when a man travels far for greener pastures- he tends to behave better (Sarri's reps should have told him what the consequence of his actions will lead to going to a club like Chelsea- cos his behaviour at Chelsea will greatly define how bright his future will be) .

Still baffled why we would want a manager who has a win ratio of around 37% before he went to Napoli where he inherited a decent team and it is 'controlled' very much by De Laurentis. Unlikely but I am in the TomB camp and would like Conte to stay for the last year. Tactic wise appeared to be found out but the enthusiasm he brought last year carried us to the title and clearly there was an issue starting with the Burnley game.

I guess Sarri is employed cos of the brand of football he brings to the table. The club also wants a good coach that won't wanna control transfer activities so much- Sarri ticks those boxes.

Doesn't want to control transfers yet fact of fiction, the media are saying he wants to bring up to FIVE Napoli players with him including a 35 year old! People keep saying the "brand of football" he plays, his teams do not play any brand until he went to Napoli where they continued to play the brand they always did not 'his' brand.
