Is Salah mata's replacement Ed!

Would Chelsea have sold Mata to Arsenal or Man City if they bid want Manchester United did Ed? Or is because Manchester United are so far behind Chelsea do not see them at title challengers?

Hi I usually read the everton sites as I am an everton fan, but do have a slight liking towards Chelsea I just do not understand some of your posters because you seem to think Ross Barkley will be easy to buy and that he will want too come no questions asked he's happy at Everton and won't develop as well at Chelsea due to competition for placers in his best role as a cam.
Better players he will be training/playing with of course he will develop plus more chance of silverware champions league football oh more money. No hard feelings but don't think he will have to think about it to long if he's good enough he will play. On another note don't mind everton and martinez ps we also want lukaku back

And what makes you think Lukaku would want to sign for you Ryan? Lukaku is a Chelsea fan and has said he wants to be Chelsea's main striker for years to come so I would suggest a move to Everton is less than likely, if not impossible. I don't think Barkley will be easy to buy, but I do think he'll move in the summer, and possibly to us.
I think Barkley will develop better when the structure of the team is built around him (Everton) rather than when he's having to compete with the likes of hazard Oscar Willian schurrle and salah to get into the team. He will eventually outgrow Everton if he continues but for the time being would be wise to stay.

Ryan - behave! Lukaku would never sign for you permanently. He'll play for the best team. I'm a utd fan but Everton fans need to reign themselves in! You're not and will never be in the same league as united or Chelsea! Players will always go to us above you! Enjoy your moment but don't be too disheartened when (at the end if the season) you finish your usual 7th or 8th!
Before you start - yes we aren't doing well. However I'm not as delusional as you! We won't win the league but will hopefully make the top 4. Next season it's anyone's guess . However everton won't be in anyone's thoughts for a top 4 finish! Wake up and realise that all you're players have a price! You're a stepping stone club - regardless of whether the players sold enhance their careers.

Who would you rather have Ross Barkley or lukaku. That's if Everton suggested a swap.
I'd keep Lukaku. The boy's got so much potential, I can't really think of many other elite striker prospects like him.
No doubt Barkley's a great talent as well, but I feel there are more alternatives to him than to Romelu
Barkley all day long. The boy is gunna be top class.
I'll get slated for this but I honestly don't think lukakau will make it at Chelsea.
He's not yet clinical enough, he's first touch is average & doesn't work enough.
Good player and better than What we've got that at the moment but top top level I'm not sure.
I'd rather get rid of lukakau than sell courtious, that's what concerns me most.
Agree and if things are correct what we read he's got a bad attitude, good prospect tho

Think that with the selling of Mata we'll be seeing a lot of the 4-3-3 especially if we sign Salah from Basel, would love to see us sign Shaw, Zouma, Barkley and Costa with the Mata funding and selling other players (Essien, Betrand, Torres, Eto'o, Ba and maybe Luiz) by/during the summer and for next season to have this team : Courtios Azpilicueta Terry Cahill/Zouma Shaw
Matic Oscar (more attacking) Ramires
Willian Costa Hazard and the bench/ main reserves being: Zouma, Cahill, Van Annholt, Ivanovic, Mikel, Barkley, Piazon, Schurrle and Lukaku. Sad to see such a great player and great person go but it's clear that he doesn't play to the managers liking, good luck Juan.
They're exactly the targets we should be going for FairPlay. I do think Shaw will join in the summer being a Chelsea fan with Jose's interest in him. Although I think we don't need a centre back if we could get around 25 million for Luiz the buy Zouma for around 10 million then that's great business especially with getting about 37 million for mata and buying salah for about 11 million. Costa would be great although I wouldn't mind Mandzukic. I think he may want to leave in the summer with Lewandowski arriving at Bayern.
Don't forget we've got Van Ginkel returning from injury and also Mourinho said this would be the last season Chalobah would go on loan.

Theres a lot of people banding foreign names about on here, Chelsea are looking for English players only due to them already not meeting the home grown requirements, also they are over their FFP limit so don't expect any big name players, mourinho also likes to buy lesser known players and turn them into stars.
The only players chelsea are likely to bring in between now and sep 1st are luke shaw, ross barkley or wayne rooney
Wayne Rooney, that lesser known player.
Apart from those 3, I would rather not have rooney, he even looks like mata

Do you think it will be salah ed? I hope it's not I'd rather see Atsu or Moses back as a squad player. I think signing diego Costa could be the difference between the title and second for us.

I love Luiz but of we're trying to reduce wage bills and also bring more money in I think we could sell him to Barcelona or Bayern for somewhere around the 25 million mark. Then we could sign Zouma for around 10 million that would be good business.

I say we being Thorgan Hazard back from his loan! Perfect player to provide cover for Oscar! It wouldn't put too much pressure on him and we could blood him progressively with sub appearances. I just think that Piazon is playing so well in Holland that it wouldn't be great for his development to bring him back. Thorgan will be buzzing with confidence after winning Belgian League player of the year!

Look we all know mata is going in January if not definitely the summer! But what worries me the most is that only us would be stupid enough sell him to another premiership rival. Why do I think we going to do something really stupid regarding mata! Its stupid enough we ant playing the best player that's on the clubs books. Its heartbreaking
A bit unfair to Chelsea there Arsenal have Sold there best players to Prem clubs for years and yous reaped the fruits of Cole, City Toure Adebayour Clichy Nasri, RVP to United . Chamakh to Palace you get the picture but there doing just fine for now.
I understand Mata is a great talent and a sore loss but he's not in the picture at the moment there's young talent coming through & it helps towards future signings with the FFP.

Why sign salah I think if we aren't going for someone extraordinary like Barkley, draxler dare I say it or reus why no just give one of our youth players a chance instead of going for salah who isn't much of a step up from moses. We really need to check some of the decisions being made at the club.

I'm with ELI on this one. Don't fancy a deal for Salah. He wouldn't be cheap and he'd be 4th or 5th choice. Moses would be just fine to fill that role. And perhaps next season Piazon could claim his place on the team.
We should use the money to strenthen other areas like. A CM (Barkley!) would be divine as he can play both attacking midfield as well as playing deeper.
I would like to see draxler, apart from etoos hatrick our strikers hardly ever score, kezman, shevchenko, torres etc, I think we should put a draxler in there and play 4-1-2-3-0, no strikers like spain did, our goals come from midfield so use another midfielder and no striker, no I haven't been smoking

I've put on here before that in my opinion, for the money we are getting, selling Mata isn't a bad thing - although selling him to Manchester United isn't ideal. He
is waisted as a footballer on our bench and isn't doing the side any good there, problem is he could do the side a lot of harm on Utd's pitch over the next five years.
Any lingering bad thoughts that I had regarding the transfer of Mata to Utd have been reduced slightly by this mornings links to Ross Barkley. He, along with Luke Shaw and a truly world class striker, should be our priority transfers over the next 12mths with a centre back a secondary concern. If this time next year those three transfers have taken place then hopefully I'll be able to completely accept the loss of Mata to Utd.

Sad day for me to see in the papers that Juan is Leaving.
I hope TSO has made the right decision and I can see we are an injury away to a crisis in our attacking/creative department team i.e. Hazard. It could be the start of Manchester United rebuilding.
I truly wish Mata all the best as an individual but sadly that means Manchester United is stronger.

Really don't understand why united think they need Mata. When rooney and RVP are fit he is going to have to play on the wing, and their wingers don't interchange or even cut inside much, which is where Mata is most effective. They have Kagawa, Januzai to play that #10 role if rooney isn't fit? They still have young, mani, valencia, zaha, even welbeck to play on the wings. Really don't get the transfer if it does go through. And if it does than Mata is an person.

Look can't keep saying it I liked mata but how well are we playing we look stronger and stronger every game and his he playing NO if we were losing games I could understand. If he wants to stay and fight for his place mourinho said he doesn't want to let him go stay and fight. he's the one who decides if he goes and leaves and good luck to the lad players come and go. We have to concentrate on who we have now he had two really good seasons one when we finished 6th and the year we were third I think and won europa we wasnt at our best so he stood out and carried us now were strong new faces and he just isn't what jose wants and my honest opinion (mine) he can't replace hazard oscar willain. saying that mata should be playing first team football.
