Everyone seems to be running around like headless chickens saying that Torres is gonna leave with drogba, but I believe that once Chelsea recognise him as the key player drogba was the that will pump him with support and confidence to get back to former glory.

Torres isnt half the player that Drogba is,and if hes the replacement,Chelsea will struggle for goals,need proven strikers not Torres,he hasnt delivered all year.

Ed002 Is it true Roman has told Torres he wont be leaving and that he will be the main striker next season ?

Who is our closest signing, for now? What about Cavani, we had a strong link 2-3 months ago, but now nothing. Also read that Hulk will probably sign for Chelsea. True or false? Will Ivanovic, Luiz and Bosinwga stay?

Personally I feel that hulk is slightly overrated, whether he can prove his worth at Chelsea is a different matter... But most players are overrated nowadays apart from the exceptional few, maybe we should just go for it and see what happens..? We could do that for many players this transfer season...

Doesn't the transfer window only open 21 July and not the 1st?And yes it can be announced now they just aren't on our squad list as yet {Ed018's Note - June !st transfers can be completed among English teams, July 1st is when transfers can be completed with the rest of the world}

I have to confess, I had my doubts about the chelsea defence during this season. Sorry. However, if our defenders stop getting injured or banned then we will have a quality set of defenders. Perhaps if an easy deal comes up for a centre back the we should take it. But either way we have a great back four...

Seems we are obviously going to loose Drog as soon as his contract runs out. I just wished he could stay, didn't know how much he meant but now i got a real feeling he meant so much to me as a Chelsea fan. How much did he mean to you and what's your reaction towards his leaving? Are we ever gonna some1 like him again?

Petr Cech really does look his old self, I’m not just talking about the pen saves, but ever since the first leg against Barcelona his confidence when coming for the ball and general control of his area has been outstanding.
One of Hilario and Turnbull will leave the club in the summer, I’d rather keep Turnbull.
Jamal Blackman played a big part in the youth team winning the FA Youth Cup and seems to have a bright future ahead of him, I’d like to see him stay this season and train with the first team as third choice goalkeeper; then maybe a loan the following season when Thibaut Courtois return.
Courtois is another player who played a big part in his team’s success last season, helping Atletico Madrid to the Europa League. I was of the opinion that he would spend two years at Atletico but may be wrong, if this isn’t the case I’d still like to see him spend another season on loan before returning the following season to really compete with Cech for the number one spot.

Sad to see drogba go, great player that has done so much for chelsea. He will be missed. Hope we buy a new striker can't see Torres stepping up to be our main striker.

Know Man U are supposedly in the market for him but Llorente IS the missing piece of the puzzle if Drogba goes. A strong, dominant Cf with good finishing to match. Instead of Hulk with his ridiculous buy out clause! Just a thought.

Hi lads i know this wont happen but i think if we want a short term strong frontman to give Lukaku a few season(2 seasons maybe 3) to mature and settle in as our frontman for the next 10 years or so, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be ideal ofcourse this wont happen.
What do you guys think about this and who do you rather want Hulk or Hazard i personally prefer the more down to earth Hulk?

Its looking really exciting at who we might sign this summer! Next season we will be back in the league race!
I dont think it'll happen but i'd love to see Neymar sign for us. He is the most exciting young player in the world and could end up better than Ronaldo or Messi! Also Kyle Walker, he is quality!
I think we will sign Moura, Hazard, Falcao and VDW
We will lose Drogba, Malouda, Essien, Ferreira(maybe becoming a coach for us) and Hilario.

people making own assumptions about torres. what he fealt about being left on bench is concern for every professional player. he gave a interview when adrenalin was high in his blood. but i didn't noticed him sulking while on parade at top of bus. he was as happy as others. he is great striker and we must keep him, he was showing some improvement of late. and with some improvement in midfield, he can be made a goal machine again. rembeber $50 million were spent on him. patience.....
