Luiz and matic. Simple choice for me, best partnership we've got, such a difference with Ramires today

This is the thing with ramires, we have seen that Luiz and Matic are our best CDM partnership, and Hazard/Oscar/Schurrle/Willian are better at the attacking midfield role, so where can we fit in ramires?
For me he is a good player, but not world class. He lacks the passing and finishing ability in the final third, and sometimes decision making is a big problem, as we saw at Villa.

I never rated Ramires. He has scored a few vital goals but 90% of the time he makes silly fouls, he is not physically strong, his over kicks the ball and his control is awful. Happy to move him on.

Haha, football fans. Fickle come to mind easily! Remember how many times I've slated here for criticizing Ramires? He's a good squad member but certainly shouldn't be a guaranteed starter for me.

This is dreamland. I expected a 2-1 win. Great first 7mins. To be fair, Eto'o deserves a year extension, maybe as 2nd choice striker.

Eto'o has been drogba-esque in scoring in the inportant games for us so I'd be happy with a 1 year extension,

Absolutely stunning first half. Matic and Luiz bossing the midfield and everyone queuing up to get on the score sheet.
We could well be watching the end of Arsenal's title challenge.

I've said since the city game Matic and Luiz are quality together there. Luiz shouldn't be sold IMO he's to versatile and he brings a lot more to the side than Ramires. If anyone is rather lose Ramires than Luiz for sure.

Wow what a start! This is essentially over with that penalty, but what a massive mistake by the ref as well. Why in the world does he decide to send off Gibbs.
Loving Schürrle, he's showing what he can bring to the team. He makes brilliant runs, works hard and doesn't whine even when he's not playing a whole lot of matches. Fantastic player to have in the team.
Also hoping Kalas can get a decent amount of minutes today. It's a shame Ake wasn't included on the bench. Would've been a good opportunity for him as well.
