Hope Torres gets a transfer back to Athletico and that we can use Rami to strike a deal for Pogba. If Torres does go then I would love to see Lukaku stay and the bring in a pacey forward. We would then Have the completed squad, with two power house strikers and a third wippet to change the style of play. Really can't wait for the new season. Plus I think Cesc is going to be epic as our number 10!

I agree with letting Torres go, but ramires? Ok he wasn't great in the last season, but he is better suited to a 3 man midfield. If we start playing this formation ramires would be a massive loss.

Pogba won't be joining Chelsea, if Torres does go then Costa/Lukaku/Drogba will be our strikers, Juventus want Lukaku on loan but Everton want him for £18-20 million

{Ed018's Note - I have no clue what would happen}
It will never happen. If they shut the pipelines Europe will face economic disaster. Including UK.

Wasn't your post that was aimed at pinky. I'm well informed on current affairs sadly. I just don't agree with chn's reply. ;)

Marley,
If they shut down the pipe lines then the rest of Europe will no longer be supplied of fuel (Russia provides ALL of Europe's fuel).
The only other option would be to transport fuel and oils through the middle east, which would cost far more than what countries are currently paying due to import costs, contract finances, not to mention the fact that the middle east would be able to demand however much they like and Europe will have no chance but to accept.
however, it's not going to happen, the EU won't freeze the supply of fuel and oils from Russia because of that very reason.

Sorry man, I thought the first post was about asset freezes/how it would affect Roman and Chelsea, not the supply of fuel to Europe. I fully agree that the pipeline won't be shut, for the reasons you stated and I'm sure it's the last thing Russia want too. You never know about sanctions/asset freezes against individuals associated with Putin though, which is why I responded as I did. No one but those making the decisions know what's happening, we can only speculate so a statement saying 'never going to happen' is wide of the mark.

Plus if you believe anything the daily Fail print, Russia cut supply to Europe by 60% today. Not good!

Roman Abramovich is a gubernator of Chukotka which region reach with oil gas diamonds and gold so he is quite important to Putin. Up to now sanctioned were totally unimportant people members of Russian administration. And yesterday Germans told. Cameron to stop pushing stupid ideas and decided to minimally increase sanctions to unimportant aspect again. DON'T WORRY ABOUT RA.

Hi Eds,
Just seen the travelling squad for Austria - do we make anything out of the missing Curtois, or is he still on World Cup leave?
Many thanks
