Looks like sturridge is edging closer to a move to Liverpool so we must have someone lined up if we are letting him go!

So we are close to getting falcao. Sturridge is close to signing for Liverpool. Not much news regarding anyone else.. We close to agreeing anything with any clubs ed for any players, we any closer with shurrle or remy {Ed002's Note - No, not close.}

I'd much rather have lukaku back then to buy another striker that when lukaku comes back will need to be dealt. He's good enough to spell whoever the striker is while being able to challenge them for their spot as well. He also offers something that few strikers do which is to be able to beat a centre half with strength as well as speed.

Writing this before game against aston villa.
we should go for Cairan clark.. young, talented, versatile, cheap n home grown.. can be a good player for us.. n wouldnt mind sitting on bench for some time.. one for the future.. dont want to replace jt.. both are different but he can be good player for chelsea.

I think you need to appreciate what we have coming through the ranks.....Tomas Kalas/Nathaniel Chalobah/Nathan Ake....that's ignoring Jeffrey Bruma who will be back from Germany next season if he has proven he can make the grade. We really don't need to go looking for central defenders. {Ed002's Note - I would not hold your breath over Bruma returning.}

first time poster here, i was just wondering if any of you could shed some light on what has happened to conor clifford. I remember a few seasons ago him scoring the winning goal in the F.A Youth cup final and was expecting him to at least get a few games even as a sub by now. he was even called up into the Irish squad recently(i know thats not much but still) anyway if anyone could fill me in it would be a great help
