If I've gathered 1 thing from tonights match then it's that the players fully believe in what AVB's trying to get them to do.
Outstanding commitment and determination from all players used and you do not get that unless the players are 100 percent behind him.
After a slow first 20 , I thought we dominated , although Harry played into out hands by bringing pav on and going 442 and playing modric wide where he was redundant.
Final thought , John terry was epic. That is not the performance of a guilty man. JT legend.

Very good once we got going.Romeu again showing what a quality find he is.John Terry outstanding all game easily my MOM.Sturridge again showing why he's one of the first names on the team sheet(got to be on the plane to the euro's in the summer).I also think we should look a bit closer to home for signings,there is a lot of hard working quality players in the premiership.By signing players from European teams you don't always get the hard work as well as quality.Rodwell would be excellent signing,maybe victor Moses.Gary Cahill or chris samba.junior hoillett and even Darren bent I think is a player we are missing.Bent is a striker who will always stay down the middle which is what we need.Drogba I hope stays and gets a two year deal.Torres i think has to go if we can get £30m for him.His bad form has affected him really bad and I can't see him getting back to his best,but I hope I'm wrong on this one and he starts scoring when didier is at African nations.Give didier his two year deal because not only are you keeping a great player but he's teaching lukaku a long the way.The players mentioned above could probably all be brought in on minimum wages,all would not demand huge transfer fees and are proven in premiership.

AVB has demonstrated his mastery of tactics and manipulation tonight because the way Sturridge has moved and worked tonight is not a CF/STR, it is him playing as a right winger. 2-1 to the Blues at 90 minutes Terry to nod in a header from a corner as fates are smiling on him.

We started really poorly and I wondered if you are allowed to tackle in football any more because we didn't put them under any pressure. Got ourselves back into the game but really worried about the defence now in the 2nd half with Ferreria at Rb and Bosingwa as CB. Ed I know Luiz is injured but surely we have some other CB in the reserves who could step up and give us the cover. {Ed002's Note - Of course.}

Cech (although personally I think he's had his day, courtois is the future!)
Right back- we do need a rb, for me ivan does the job though!
Centre backs- JT, of course.. & David Luiz he is so under-rated!
Left back- a.cole is solid! But Bertrand is a very food player and should be givin chances.
3 in midfield- R.Meireles Romeu Lampard / Ramires
Left wing- mata all day long, best signing we've made in years!
Right wing- Danny Sturridge he's in a different class at the moment
Centre foreward- has to be Drogba ?
For me in January and in summer we need a slight tweak;
Rb.. Anyone got any idea's?
I don't think Gary Cahill is the answer to be honest we need no more centre backs
Another central mid;; moutinho, m'via ?
Another winger; Kevin Prince-Boeteng? Victor Moses ?
Another striker cavani or saldado
Like the thought of young victor Moses, he is looking better with each game, maybe Wigan get relegated and we snap him up on the cheap
Ramires and Romeu are the only two who are performing at a high level in the midfield. I would like to see goetze or similiar in there but would be prepared to wait till the summer. aside from that josh and piazon will be ready soon.
Centre fwd - higuain or cavani.
RB-Azpilicueta
CB-Cahill & Subotic
CAM-Gotz
RM-Reus
Maybe add some young squad players like De Bruyne, Barkley & Clyne
