I just read that an unamed English club has bid 30 mil for Nikola Maksimovic, the report is calling him the next vidic, probably because they are both Serbian, the report says he's 24 years old, he is technical good as he use to play as a midfielder, I've never seen him play, has any other Chelsea fans actually watched him? , do they know if he's good enough for us? ,

"Report says unnamed English club". "Forgot to say report says Chelsea".

What?

22 Aug 2016 22:07:36
Yes an unnamed English club called Chelsea.

23 Aug 2016 02:17:17
Chelsea the club with no name.

That guy is one of the best CDs in Italy but he is nowhere near Vidic as well as other Chelsea defensive targets. All of them are highly overrated.

Eds could you shed some light on one defender we are not linked with
So frustrating not having eds on here
Just to put us out of our misery.

According to talksport were after james rodrigues. Really? Do we have to put up with commentators calling him hamez?

Believable2 Unbelievable0

22 Aug 2016 18:27:19
Lol. I remember the first time I was watching him, I heard the commentator keep saying Hamez and I was thinking who da hell is Hamez in this colombia team? I searched the team rubbish and still no Hamez. It was after he scored his wonderful goal and the Commentary team were shouting Hamez that I knew it was him. Forgot J is pronounced as H in spanish.

Would prefer Isco to James from what I've seen of both of them.

I always find it amusing that chelsea fans are all post abramovic according to certain other clubs fans.

I of course appreciate that being a supporter of a totally stagnant club like the toffees and generally always being second best to your utterly abhorrent neighbours makes it difficult to understand that clubs can change and of course a club that gets bought out and all of a sudden has a bit of cash on the hip, is always likely to become more successful. Hand in hand with that comes the inevitable increase in fan base.

So in the years to come, Mr toffee I assume you'll use this peice of advice that I have kindly offered you as you can use it to harass your own supporters.

Shame 1 "fan" spoils it for all. I much prefer everton over liverpool. they're a nicely run club and now should do well. Just hope they don't get big headed. They were great to watch in the 80s and if it wasnt for the euro ban would have been a force ever since.

How much did we sell salah for? I heard it was for peanuts. If true why do Chelsea ALWAYS sell on the cheap! Salah been outstanding for Roma and I heard he went for just £12m.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

22 Aug 2016 13:02:08
Not sure how much we sold him for, but I thought we only paid 12 mill for him.

22 Aug 2016 14:00:28
Whatever it was, the fee was agreed last season. there would have been loan fees as well unfortunately, with no crystal ball, the post-season transfer prices weren't reflected in the agreed price.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Aug 2016 14:53:58
Wouldn't say we always sell on the cheap, de bruyne looked a decent deal at the time and £38mill for mata was a big profit and a good price for what was at the time a player not good enough for the first team according to the manager.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Aug 2016 15:11:21
We sold David Luiz for €50m, probably the best pice of business ever.

Agree2 Disagree0

22 Aug 2016 15:34:53
at the time yes - but boy would he do a job in a back 3. perhaps two wreckless and careless for EPL though?

Agree2 Disagree2

22 Aug 2016 17:43:23
I'm not sure you can say we sell cheap. We've consistently turned a profit on our sales here recently even when performances haven't been incredible (djibodji) .

Are Chelsea interested in Gimenez because he is a way cheaper and better and younger option thank Koulibaly.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

22 Aug 2016 13:41:04
Gimenez wouldn't be any cheaper than Koulibaly.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Aug 2016 18:13:41
Yeah Simeone has stated that he wants £40 million for him whereas Napoli have reportedly rejected £50m.

Must be a scary thought for all you Chelsea fans that lukaku withdrew his transfer request as he sees Everton as a better project than Chelsea! Carries on like this Everton will have a whole new fan base in London when Everton win a trophy and u lot suddenly decide your toffees.

Believable3 Unbelievable10

22 Aug 2016 11:13:12
I don't know what you're on about, but ill tell you what I for one, in fact a lot of Chelsea fans actually celebrated when he decided to stay with you lot, if you haven't realised we have a better player in lukaku in Batsman, better first touch, two footed and also seems like a guy ready to put his head down and work hard, not mopping if he is automatically first choice.

Plus it's obvious to see that he decided to stay because we weren't going to fork out that money on him, when there are better options out there, so keep talking spaz like Evertons going to win a trophy it only proves that you "evertonians " are nothing more than a delusional bunch.

Is that the same batsman that's forth choice behind Rom origi and benteke for Belgium? Yea well done with that one lads.

{Ed018's Note - in all fairness not many of the posters on here wanted Lukaku back.}

22 Aug 2016 11:32:02
I no am just bored in work ed and new ad get a rise out of Chelsea fans who used to be United fans who was Liverpool fans back in the day u no the type ed.

22 Aug 2016 11:51:23
Delighted we didn't cow to his ego! Batshuayi in about 30 match minutes has already shown a better touch than Lukaku ever did!

Thats a first a scouser in work jonny
Enjoy harts mistakes by the way.

Looking for jobs at the job centre doesn't count as work johny.

22 Aug 2016 13:32:23
Our new Belgium striker will be the better player as time goes by.
I never rated lukaku and I hate his laziness and first touch. I never wanted him back.

Agree1 Disagree0

22 Aug 2016 15:02:57
Chelsea don't need a £70mill+ lump up front with the first touch of a donkey and an attitude problem. Laugh all you want about batshuayi but he scored with his first touch in the euros and has already got a league goal and assist without starting a game.
As for Chelsea fans all supporting Man U and Liverpool before 2003, I didn't realise we were back in school, such a ridiculous statement.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Aug 2016 15:37:21
i supported everton before abramovich jonny then i realised i was on to a losing thing supporting the second best team in liverpool
then i became a fan of a plastic flag waving happy trophy winning side and its the best decision i could of made
european cup winners
premiership winners
fa cup winners
league cup winners
europa cup winners
its been 21 years since efc have won anything of substance
you had a great run in the champions league a few years ago
was it 2 matches against villareal you lost both but it was a good run for you lot.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Aug 2016 23:25:14
We have won nearly 20 trophies since you toffees last won anything and yes why would we want lukaku back, he is worth no more than the profit we made off you.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Aug 2016 20:58:22
Little victories ey johny89? Keeping hold of Lukaku is all you can celebrate, have fun being a mid table team for the rest of your life.

Juventus want cuadrado, let's get a defender off them. Valencia want pedro let's get mustafi. Use it too our advantage I say.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

22 Aug 2016 11:05:35
Would be interesting if we could somehow get a Juve defender involved in the Cuadrado deal.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Aug 2016 13:36:21
They want cuadrado badly. I say offer the player and cash. Saving and getting rid of players we aren't going to use. Same as if Valencia want pedro. Then maybe splash some of our cash on griezman or March reus. Still think we could do with someone different than Willian on the other wing.
