Pretty much every newspaper is running a story about us going back in for Stones. Even if this is true, Everton will hold out for more than we offered last summer; but he's had a very questionable season.
I was a big advocate for his signing in the summer but now - there must be better options out there. His form has been poor and mentally he hasn't appeared to deal well with last summers events.

If they can sign him, you'll see a different player. Of course the speculation was going to get to him. He wanted to leave but wasn't allowed. He'll return to his normal top self either with Everton or someone else. Once everything calms down.

Obviously the papers have associated us with so many players we would be able to field 22 new ones next year! However, the references to Stones and Lukaku, I cannot believe either of those are or would be on Conte's radar therefore will we get another scenario whereby the manager indicates who he would like and the club do their own thing.

Charley Musunda is staying at Real Betis for another Season on loan, I really hope that means Kasey Palmer gets an opportunity with the first team like Ruben has enjoyed.

I think keeping him there for a year is, for both him and the club, a smart move. I think our young players would generally get a lot more from a loan there than Vittese.
Palmer, along with Aina and Colkett, certainly looks far and above the U21 squad now. Hopefully Aina gets a new deal l (if not it appears to be down to his attitude and little else) but the club needs to think carefully about young players development from the point in their careers these are at. For every positive loan, such as Baker's or Musonda's, there are too many negative ones like McEachran's before he left.
