this is my ideal squad for after the summer, obviously their is other youngsters like ake & chobalah but next season wont be room, and some will go on loan. im 50-50 on keeping cole & lampard, i still think they could have one mre season cole rotate more with bertrand. lamps more of a scholes role. another thing that pisses me off is a holding midfielder at home against lesser teams. with the players here we could play 442 433 4312 4231 451

How has bamford been getting on in our youth teams since he joined? Not heard anything about him.
I might be wrong but i think he scored on his debut and a few times since.

The summer is still too far away to speculate on comings ang goings, don't forget, a new manager will likely have his own say on who will be arriving aswell.

I wouldn't mind at all the team stated below !what about this though? CourtoisCech(give him another season to return to hi form of old rb-walker cb cahill cbterry(but start bringing through Sam )lb Cole/bertrand dm ramirez /romeu lm hazard rm gaitan am Mata st cavani (start bringing lukaku and piazon through by dropping ramirez or romeu in easier games and playing either 4-1-2-1-2 or just simple 4-4-2) i think we should stick to one up front if we can sign a player that can do that!for me cavani or falcao would fit the bill or both but i think that's not too realistic.Either way we need sell all surplus and sign at least 4 solid players with good atitude on pitch and hungry to play, off field issues can be dealt with.we need to sign players with flair and ambition and bring through our youths.also id like us to cash in on ivanovic now he's had a good season probably the best we've seen of him and best he'll have!we need to start doing that with others too, like mikel lets face it he won't get better unless he'd like to be back up?good time to sell sturidge we'd defo get our money back!and of course flo , bosigwa , torres , drogba just have to go , either sold or just let go!bring on barca , fingers crossed! I would expect Adam Johnson to leave Man City in the summer to find more games, personally I think he would be a great addition (easily better than Sturridge) and a Hulk deal is unlikely. I also think Kagawa would be a good addition, has the ability to pass and create which is something we are lacking, as currently Mata is the only player with creativity and flair.
I don't want Drogba to leave but I think it is very likely he will, however I don't think we really need to add another striker, we have Torres, Lukaku and Sturridge and we always play one striker so that is enough especially if we get another playmaker and winger. However if any striker could be added I would want somebody like Falcao as he is quality.

I think we should all remain optimistic,we held arsenal away with the majority of second string players after playing against tottenham and barcelona in a single week.we were lucky they hit the bar twice but if kalou had a more decent touch we couldve scored 2 or 3 ourselves.lets just hope barcelona have lost a little confidence after losing the el clasico and we can snatch an early goal.
Dont get me wrong,the performances of players like kalou,sturridge,bosingwa and torres yesterday got me
frustrated,but these problems can not be solved until the summer,and im sure the club has an action plan regarding a summer clearout.but until then,i say that we've hit a good patch of form lately and lady luck looks like she's on our side finally.so lads, there's still a lot to play for and hopefully we
add to our trophy cabinet come end of season

The five players that have to leave this summer are, drogba and Essien as both players are past their peak. Maluoda and Kalo as they both demonstrated yesterday that they just are not world class players. And ferria or boswinga. To allow space for a top right back. Just don't know who the realistic replacements would be. Any ideas people, can use youth team players too.

Malouda was better than sturridge, sturridge needs to go could you imagine the ego on him. Big headed person and he ain't even good enough for Chelsea
Would personally like to see todd kane get a chance in the first team, he's quick as and can actually pass a ball unlike boswinga, he gets forward and can score a goal aswell.

I really hope we don't sign Hulk, we have a long painful history of paying big money for forwards who turn out useless. Robert fleck, chris Sutton, Casiraghi, Mutu, Schevchenko, Paul Furlong, Torres. To name but a few. Here's hoping for Cavani. Spready.

I really would like Torres to come good, but there is one stumbling block. He is 28 which isn't that old but for a striker that relies on service and beating players with pace, i don't think he is the ideal long term option. My thought is that i don't think that Torres will be as good a striker as Drogba at 34 even if he comes good.
I think we should sell him and buy a replacement that is younger that will still be playing when Lucas Piazon, josh mceachran, and the other young players become starting players.
I see a very good future but i don't see torres in it

The reason Torres is so bad is because of his injury he suffered whilst at Liverpool...
The LFC fans knew he wasn't the same (look at his goal record in the last 18 months at LFC)
Torres has force changed himself as a player, he's lost. He moves to RW and plays too deep, too often. Trying too hard to fit in.
All lfc fans saw he had surgery before world cup and never was the same player no longer lightning quick no longer able to turn as quick a shadow of what he once was which is probably the best striker in the world
