Use our rumours form to send us chelsea transfer rumours.

A lot of fans wanting lsco to join chelsea. I personally rate him but don't think we need another no 10 player. For me falcao or cavani is a must. Another player we are linked with is fellani. Again I don't think he suits the type of play we are looking for. He is a great threat behind the striker, but he would never take that position at chelsea. If the paper talk about yaya toure is true, what a player he would be for us. we have a good squad but I think we are about 2-3 top quality players away from being great. Luke shaw would be agood signing leaving him at southampton for next season on loan.
possible side next season:
Manager: mourinho

Cech
Azpiclueta terry luiz cole
Ramires yaya
Hazard mata oscar
Falcao

Yaya won't leave, especially not by buying out his contract due to the legal difficulties it will involve. Whilst Isco is similar to the players we currently have, we can't expect them to play 70 games a season and it will be good to add more strength in depth.

Agree3 Disagree2

I don't wAnt neymar, fellaini or toure or baines or even hulk. Oscar in midfield yes, sign isco.

Agree7 Disagree4

How about 4-3-3 with Strootman, Rami and Oscar. Mata Reus Hazard. That would be a mega team in my opinion.

This is the Luke Shaw who has already said HIMSELF (no silly paper talk) that as soon as he turns 18 in the summer he WILL sign a full, long term contract with Saints? He said this in January simply to stop people being taken for a ride by journalists making up rumours-trot on guys!

Moses
Bertrand

Player I hope we buy;

Isco
Cavani
Falcao
Luke Shaw

Any opinions?

Add Torres in the get rid of list and take out one of cavani or falcao and that looks realistic.
Ba will probably stay, and with loans coming back next year looks promising!

Agree4 Disagree1

So, you want to sell Ba after 6 months (who's done pretty well) and Moses after 12 months (who's done OK) and Bertrand (a rare youth product and homegrown player)? And then you feel you need Cavani AND Falcao?

I really don't understand why some people say Chelseas fans are spoilt! :)

Agree6 Disagree2

I doubt Moses, Ba and Marin will leave. Although it will largely depend on the manager. Marin hasn't really been given a fair run in the team due to his injury at the start of the campaign and the pressure that Rafa is under. Rafa is unwilling to upset the balance the team currently has by inserting a player that is untested in the PL. I also don't think we will sign both Cavani and Falcao, I'm not even certain we will get either as both as being considered by RM and City. With Dzeko, Tevez and Higuian leaving both clubs will be pushing hard to bring in top class strikers.

Agree3 Disagree1

You want to keep Torres, sell Ba AND bring in both Cavani and Falcao? What would happen to Lukaku long term as Cavani is only 26. Falcao and Cavani aren't going to come and sit on the bench so what formation do you think we'll play? How much money do you think we are going to spend, because Falcao and Cavani will be atleast £90m. Isco another £20-30m.

Not realistic at all.

Agree5 Disagree8

Moses is one of the few players who actually gives us some width. When he doesn't play we get 5 players around the box with about 10 foot between them. So easy to defend. If you play with 3 behind the striker, you NEED width! I rate Moses.

Everyone crying about how bad marin is, you got to remember how bad bale was before.

Believable4 Unbelievable2

There both 23 though

Agree4 Disagree2

Marin was bad 1 fa cup match, Moses has been poor since afcon.

Agree6 Disagree3

Bale and Marin can't even be mentioned in the same sentence.

Agree4 Disagree6

You've chosen to compare him to a youngster who developed into a top class player - why? What if I compare him to a player that started off sh!t and stayed sh!t?

Agree0 Disagree2

Marin was injured at the start of the season and hasn't been played due to the pressure that Rafa is under to get results. He doesn't want to insert a player and depend on him that has no PL experience, which is obvious as he seems to prefer Benayoun. Marin was dubbed the german Messi, so comparing him to Bale is hardly that bad. He was also injured last season and doesn't seem to have regained the form that has seen him compared to Messi. But he's hardly seen a decent run of games in order to properly judged him.

Agree4 Disagree3

Marin has been injured and gets deployed in away which doesn't suit his attributes, he is a old fashioned winger, down the outside and swinging in balls.
next season under better management I would expect him to flourish!

Agree4 Disagree0

I thought comparing him to Bale was bad but now the bloke has got messi involved. jeeez

Agree3 Disagree2

Bale is a big fish in a little pond at Spuds, his real tests will come when he has to compete weekin week out in a team full of class and intelligent players. Pimlico Blue.

Agree1 Disagree2

I wasn't comparing him to Messi, just said that he was dubbed the german Messi in the past. If you google him, you'll see that it comes up. I don't think he's anywhere as good as Messi or Bale but we haven't seen the best of him and he's maybe played 200mins of football for us. So it's hardly fair to judge him this season.

ed I know you have explained about the finacial fair play rule, but I was wondering could a team spend stupid amounts more than they bring in then just miss 1 season in europe and then go back in?, if so I don't think its that bad city for example could spend 150 mill in the summer and miss a season win the prem and be back in it next season with a amazing team, if i'm way off the mark could you explain the bans and what ever else happens if any team don't stick to the rule, thanks as always ed {Ed002's Note - It doesn't work like that and you need to read the latter half of what I wrote about it - it gives a pretty clear view on what I expect the reality to be in terms of punishments.}

i want to ask you guys and all eds, how I can get a ticket to watch in moscow and does anybody know about the visa situation your help would be amazing for me cheeres guys {Ed002's Note - Try the club web site.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Cheers ed, I was more asking has anybody watched a game in moscow and is it hard to get a visa and what not? {Ed002's Note - If you are British you need a Visa and it will be easy to get assuming you have no serious convictions. Security at the ground will be very strict and it will be slow getting in and out, possibly under escort. Getting a ticket will not be difficult via the club. The rest of the advice will be the same as visiting most cities. Don't be a jerk; don't antagonize the locals or the authorities; don't get drunk on the streets or you could spend the night behind bars; don't talk to girls. No doubt the club's travel partner will have something up soon - and probably better advice than this. If you are not British then different rules may apply regarding the visa.}

I see ed002 has said on numerous times there is a likely chance he will leave, if he leaves, what do we think will happen to the #8 shirt, retired?

I don't think so, how about giving the shirt number #8 to Mr Eden Hazard.

Thoughts

Billycfc {Ed002's Note - Plan is to wash the shirt and give it to his replacement.}

Kevin De Bruyne, Oscar or Hazard? I personally think Oscar shd have the #8, Hazard #7, Ramires shd get Essien's #5, Lukaku #11.

Lukaku #9!

Agree4 Disagree2

I heard they were going to give it to oscar, but it didn't fit him properly so they changed there minds.

Agree2 Disagree0

They are going to flip the number '8' upside down so it will look identical but all the fans can be happy in the knowledge that the 'right way up number 8' was saved for Frank and Frank only.

This retiring numbers is bs, lampard is no more special than any players like tambling, osgood, drogba, Zola or wise.
