As someone who has watched Islam Feruz since he was alledgedly 11 years old and thought he was way far advanced for his years I'm extremely disappointed with his comments about a footballing legend who moved heaven and earth for him and his family. Tommy Burns stopped islam and his family being deported and also got him a fantastic house in a nice area of Glasgow. The boy has no class and lacks the desire and attitude to make the top in football.

Away back to the Celtic page son he wanted to play in a TOP league not a PUB league

Four summer signings needed, my preferences are…

Cesar Azpilicueta :- Will immediately offer a greater quality in depth at RB.

Lucas Moura :- Can play anywhere (right, left or centrally) in attacking midfield; will add goals and creativity to our midfield.

Adam Johnson :- Will offer a genuine threat from either wing, although concerns about his attitude would have to be addressed.

Radamel Falcao :- Goals, Goals, Goals!! He has proved that he can do it in two European leagues now and looks like he would fit immediately into the Premiership. Swap deal with Torres maybe?

Starting eleven next season…

Agree with this, i do prefer mata behind the striker thou

Agree1 Disagree0

Agreed but I would shift Moura to the right wing an put mata centrally. Then I would sign a player like hazard, lavezzi, or Jordi alba for the left wing.

Agree0 Disagree0

This is pretty much exactly how I would line up for next season with the same players, I would like it if we were able to sign Cavani instead of falco though.

Nick88ftl

Agree1 Disagree1

I do prefer Mata centrally too but the ideal thing about him, Moura & Johnson is that they can all play either on the right, left or centrally. All would be able to move around causing opposition teams a lot of problems with marking etc.

If it is these three, or other players, in the attacking positions this ability, for me, is a must in modern football.

Can I also add that I'd love to see Piazon get some first team action next season.

Surewould

Agree1 Disagree0

Very true surewould

Agree0 Disagree0

Really good and realistic team. But I think I would prefer di maria or Markel Susaeta of bilbao who is really quick ,young , would be cheaper ,can play on both wings or just behind the striker, over Adam Johnson. I think Johnson plays like sturridge maybe the the only difference is johnson can pass Better but he tends to cut in and shoot as much as sturridge does. Falcao would be a good signing but I think I would prefer Cavani, for reasons that he doesn't depend on "the right pass" he creates his own chances, he is really good in the air ,can score from free kicks, uses both legs and can also set up others. Other than that great team. ELI

Agree0 Disagree0

Jovetic instead of Moura.

Agree0 Disagree0

You won't get Radamel as his club are in no need to sell him. You wont get Adam Johnson because Manchester city are the better club, bigger club, and they actually play something called " football". Lucas moura is wanted by Madrid, the Italian and Spanish powerhouses. So go head and put this dream to bed.

The main problem with Torres is service, you can see his frustration all over his face, the poor guy has Malouda, Kalou and Sturridge as his service so what chance does he stand.

On a positive note Bertrand is quality and will become a world class defender

Just watched Barca v Real, and feel if Chelsea are brave and go for the away goal, they can go through. Real surprised them early by having a go, I think if Chelsea score over there, they can go through. Good luck on Tuesday.

I thought Ryan Bertrand was outstanding today, I agree with all the comments stating that we don’t need to be looking at buying a new left back; Bertrand is there and ready to take over from Cole when the time comes.

I agree that Torres was poor today, there is no getting away from that. I would however say that there was not really any creative element to our wingers or midfield.

Kalou is not my favourite player, and played his normal blinkered, straight line running, game today. We all know Sturridge offers nothing in terms of creative play whilst playing him on the right, either he is scoring goals or he is offering nothing at all; right now he isn’t scoring goals. I can’t see Kalou signing a new deal and fully expect him to leave, Sturridge playing on the right was clearly a tactical plan created by AVB and it isn’t working in RDM system. The club need to make a decision on Sturridge, they can either sell him or decide to use him as one of their central striker options.

The rest of the midfield today consisted of Romeu, a very good young player who is also very defensive in his play. Malouda, hasn’t played well all year and will almost definitely be leaving the club in the summer. Essien, legs have gone and he is nowhere near his former self.

None of these players, wingers or midfielders, are creative.

It is a tough decision to make as far as Torres is concerned as there is no guaranty that he will return to his former self, even if the club do bring in players with more creative abilities. Its not that I necessarily want him to leave but I’m starting to lean back towards the idea that a move away might be best for him and Chelsea. Whether he stays or goes though one this is for sure; the club will have to add quality to the midfield and wingers.

Ive got last year and this years shirts with torres on and have backed him till im blue in the face but enough is enough! Its not about the passes he recives drogba comes n picks the ball up his self, he doesnt tackel he doesnt jump for a header he stands next to and behind defenders! We would have played better today with 10 men - torres, hes gotta go, i love drog but looks like hes on his way we need 2 new strikers! Higuine and cavani or falcao

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Or mabe we should just give sturrigde a go as loan striker and buy 2 decent wingers

everyone is missing the point on torres, the service he gets is terrible! kalou i just wouldnt have him near the team! wot do chelsea see in this bloke, can sumone pls tell me wot it is cos to me he offers nufing to the team wot so ever! cant pass, cant run with the ball and looks like he pulling a caravan when he sprints! all he does is run into players and falls down!

right thats that clown ive had enuf with but YET i have to watch another joke in boswinga! he is just a fraud and i cant be botherd to waste my time moaning bout him!

ed can u tell me who scouted theses players? was it the same person? and more importantly is this or persons still at the club cos am seriously worried about the players we gonna get in the summer if so!

every team has 1 bad player at their club but we seem to have 4 or 5 of them!

essien legs have gone, i love the bloke but we cant carry him in games, looked sluggesh after 15mins 2day! we are lacking pace and flair big time and we never gonna get the best out of sturrigde while he playing in a position he dnt wanna play in! thought arsenal were there for the taking 2day and thats more points dropped! 4th has gone now

pinky

Believable3 Unbelievable2

What did Bosingwa do today that was so terrible? Impressed is a strong word, but coming in for Ivanovic I think today he was solid enough. He has the skill to beat full backs and today he was one of the few on the pitch today who actually did it a few times. Hats off to Bertrand too, who I thought was solid against a potentially tricky right side of Arsenal.

When Sturridge was moved to the middle he STILL did nothing today. I love the kid, it just wasn't his game in my eyes. Missing out in recent weeks seems to have left him a little less sharp. Still.. name an attacking player who had a good game today, honestly?

I think your analysis of Essien is a bit harsh too.. having said that, I am constantly frustarted with the likes of Kalou and Malouda also. However, 3 tough games in a week has brought us 2 wins, a draw and only 1 goal conceded. I'd rather be organised and not lose than play the way AVB did and ship 2 or more week-in-week-out.

All your posts seem so pessimistic or contradictory.

P.S. Remember that the summer is a long way off yet, the club is still in transition and there WILL be changes.

Wot game was u watching 2day! boswinga couldnt cross and i never see him take on any full back! ok he gets forward well but his end product is terrible!

i go on about these players cos they are crap and its mind blowing how the likes of kalou, boswinga, mikel and malouda have stayed at chelsea for sooooooo many yrs! they wouldnt get in any top european teams and i dnt want them at my club!

wots harsh in wot i said bout essien its only the truth we had the best out of him just think if we replaced them players with half decent players we be a much better team! and for wot RDM is doing with them players is top draw!

We we're alot poorer today than we have been in the last few games, this doesn't surprise me as we rested a few of our main boys and the rest of the lads playing today just aren't good enough! The likes of Malouda Kalou and Bosingwa, I dunno why people are moaning at Torres for the way he played today, yes he wasnt great but where did any opportunity come from? Sturridge showed us a poor performance again when I know he'd capable of much more! On the plus side we got a point from playing a second string team against an arsenal side that have performed will this season and the fact that barca have madrid tonight and won't rest any crucial players should go well seeing as they will be fatigued come tuesday!

Well after watching that game there are several good points and bad points:

Ryan Bertrand had a great game and i feel that he is the natural successor to ashley cole at left. I keep hearing fans throwing names around like jordi alba and perriera for left back but i honestly cant understand why. What is the point in developing our own talent and then just go and sign someone else?

Malouda also had a good game today playing moe centrally than out wide. And also i feel Romeu is top quality and we should do everything we can to keep him at chelsea.

Also we have carried our defensive form over from tottenham and barcelona games and i hope this continues as defensive performences look alot more solid, although i feel luiz may have lost his place in the team as cahill and terry are such a good partnership.

Now on to the bad points.

Kalou was abysmal today im not sure but i dont think he passed a ball to a chelsea player succesfully.
It frustrates me so much seeing Torres play as although he did have a bad game he makes excellent runs and he have no one to pick them out apart from mata. He gets very bad service and cannot be blamed alone on not scoringdespite some shocking misses.

Finnally it makes me feel sick listening to Alan Smith commentating on games as hes so biased towards arsenal, for example when an arsenal player fouls a chelsea player "he was just trying to get the ball" Mike dean was just as bad today and although some of his bookings were justified like when cole kicked out at the end the rest were obscene and hes an idiot, i will not be suprised if my neighbours complain to the police as i was screaming at the TV.

Disappointed in our display today. Don't know why we're happy with a point when we need to win all our remaining games. A couple of seasons ago we use to have the upper hand over arsenal but we don't seem to anymore.

Very poor performance from Torres, kalou and Sturridge. Their touch was garbage, passing was rubbish and created nothing. Didn't look dangerous at all. I've defended Torres all this time but he's not doing anything at the minute. Never gets into goal scoring positions.

Malouda was as sh*t as normal.

We've got no chance of getting 4th.

I know that personally I have said to sell mikel. But with how much he has improved this season I will gladly eat my words.

Romeu again has impressed with the way he links up with the center backs as well as center kids.

Mata made an immediate impact, it was clear to see the difference he made to the whole teams play.

Torres was hot and cold. I know he has not started the last few matches but he seemed to hold the ball up well but couldn't really do anything with it. I feel that we need a striker that is not so dependent on 'good service'

Bertrand was Chelsea's best player for Chelsea tonight and deserved man of the match. He attacked well and made some very good passes, as well as getting back and making some good tackles. If he keeps playing like this forget about buying a left back.

Had a bad game to be honest. I know people are going to say he doesn't get "the right passes" but to me I just feel he doesn't do enough to have a go at goal. It seems like he feels content with just passing the ball at the moment and that's just not good enough for a striker. He needs to be more aggressive in the box and also his positioning is really poor. We all used to hang on to the fact that he works hard, I didn't see that today so I guess there is no positive side to his performance. -BLUERAY-

I just want to get a rough idea of what our supporters think of sturridge's future at stamford bridge. Personally i think he should stay as he is a good player/ is young, also i think that selling him would be a step in the wrong direction for our youth movement.

I see there being two options
1) we keep him, he eventually learns to be a team player as well as improving his shooting, eventually becoming a chelsea star

2) We sell him and replace him with someone who is better.

Agree for 1.... Disagree for 2
If you want him to leave say who you want to replace him.

Keep him, walcott is a top player now he has developed. Give him time

How can u compare them 2, we need no greedy players who boast how good they are when in fact hes rubbish

Agree2 Disagree1

Unless he moves to a lowr stature of club ie: Everton, Aston Villa or someone like that he wont be played as a striker. Arsenal, Manchester City, United, Liverpool all have better 1st choice strikers so he would be used on the wing, which is where he is being played at Chelsea and i assume with England.

He needs to get his head down and play hard for his team and team mates and reach his potential.
