Can anyone (including Ed's) tell me anything about Ricardo Rodriguez? With shaw looking like ending up at united, and I'm not sold on Moreno (he looks small for the premier league and Ed told us Sevilla want a hefty fee for him), maybe the club should turn their attention back to Rodriguez. He's young as well, whips in great crosses and free kicks, but that's about all I know from him.

So anyone who could tell me some more, I'd be very thankful.

He is very offensive much like Moreno both are lacking a little in defensive qualities, Shaw is a more rounded defender taking nothing away from both Rodriguez and Moreno they are both very good, you will get a decent chance to watch him during the world cup he plays for Switzerland just encase you didn't already know that.He's still very young so lots of time to develop further he would be a good buy if the price is right.

Id imagine Alaba will be starting at left back before Rodriguez at the World Cup.

Dude, not to act like I "know it all" but Alaba is Austrian, Rodriguez Suiss. Just thought I should point that out. You're welcome.

Thanks for that Lampsy. In response to Maticthebeast, I think Alaba is from Austria (?) and to my knowledge he plays in midfield for the national team. So yes, I'm probably going to see a bit of Rodriguez at the World Cup. Cheers lads

Tell you what first time I've looked at united page today only because of news they have had and WOW there all going crazy there signing everyone got the best manager in the world going to win everything now. sure they were saying that when DM was there. Bonkers

Names going around like mad but if they get players like Vidal Kroos shaw Fabregas, with mata and van Persie on fire again I'll be worried! Back 4 is crap mind

They don't have European football next season, they have a good manager and will probably have a decent squad. They'll be a threat, I reckon top 2

If the get 4 or 5 of the players quoted it would be in excess of 200mill they won't spend that much

Big players want European football and there's nothing saying they will finish next year with it every club is getting better stronger.

Yes just like Liverpool just did, I pity arsenal with these new development except Liverpool will give way because I see united making top 4, here is how I feel it will end up next season.
1st = Chelsea fc
2nd = Mancity
3rd = Manu/liverpool
4th = Arsenal/liverpool

I just think utds squad is so poor it will be hard for them next season. They're deluded if they think they will sign the likes of Vidal and Fabregas. Shaw, Strootman and a young Dutch winger methinks.

My predictions:
1-Chelsea
2-Arsenal
3-Man City
4-utd
5-Liverpool

Much will depends on signings of course but that's what I think.
