Hulk, Victor Moses and a right back will do nicely. No need for any central midfielders as we currently have Essien, Mikel, Lampard, Meireles, Ramires and Romeu who can all play there. Ideally Essien would leave as sadly the injuries have ruined him but his agent has already said hes staying. Heres hoping Malouda leaves though, surely Shanghai would fancy the old Chelsea front 3 of Malouda, Drogs and Anelka? Well we can hope :)

We need a back up/competition with torres at striker too, wonder if Moses could play as a lone striker

A month and a day ago we were crowned Champions of Europe and to be honest it doesn't feel a day old. I was Just thinking what my favourite moment of last season was, hard to pick but only one stands out, DD stepping up to give us big ears from the spot. Blessed moment really, boy was I on a high when that went in. So since there isn't much to talk about I would like to know what you guys favourite moment of last season was, lot of great moments. Was it Didiers header against munich? Fernando or Ramires' goal at the Camp Nou? Didier's penalty? JT and Lamps lifting the champions league trophy? AVB being sacked ;)?
Hopefully there will be even better memories next season and other seasons to come. Great fans, great team.... Chelsea FC, Champions of Europe and soon the world. Hurrah.....

Ed002, to be specific, I've been waiting all day for ur response; apologies though if I've caused u trouble. It's just that I'm kinda addicted to this site n find ur job here very valuable, plus ur sacarsm which most often amuses more than annoys me. Sent some text here a couple of days ago, wonder why d Eds didn't get it posted. Was d content disrespectful, abusive or did it contain elements of vulgarity? It was just an expression of opinion from my own 'angle lens' or idiosyncracy. In as much as I've not been banned from this forum, n u r also not under any obligation to me, I demand cogent reasons for d ommision of d post and/or make a vivid review of d details n post it here.

Celestyn. {Ed002's Note - I cannot answer why something was deleted - there are thousands of posts a day and I recall very few. And keep in mind I have a proper job to do and just tend to keep an eye on all of this stuff. I can imagine an editor deleting it if it was full of random "d" and "n u r" - I for one have no idea what that means.}

ED002 have you heard anything on AVB to spurs? seems likely to happen? {Ed002's Note - I have heard nothing of it. But as you say, it may happen.}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

ED do you think IF he does take the job he may also recommend to Spurs to try to sign him? or is he to expensive for them? {Ed002's Note - I don't understand what you are saying at all. Sorry.}

To try and sign who ?

Ed i have a few questions mate, hope you can answer them.

Is Moses seen as a possible alternative to Hulk or are they completely separate issues? Just wondering because if they are seperate and we do sign them both then thats a fair bit of business we've done in bringing in attack minded players, i.e. Hazard, Marin and De Bruyne already.

Also, what exactly is it with the Neymar transfer that makes it so complicated? Is it the player himself and his demands? Santos? His agent? Or is it all of these things? It just seems to be the most comlicated dragged out transfer ever, thats if there ever is an actual transfer. I know about 18 months ago you said that it was probably just a matter of time before he joined us, then it seemed all the games started and it dragged on before from what i can gather we just left it. Is that right or do we still harbour some hope that we can get him?

Thanks in advance.

OsgoodIsKing {Ed002's Note - There is no link between the two players.}

It started out when he turned us down before ancellotis second year for reasons unbeknownst to me. That following year he really raised his profile which drew in teams such as Madrid and barca to make their interest be known over the summer. Over the summer santos participated in the copa liberatadores which Ed stated was far more important to people from that region than most of us realize. They ended up winning the copa liberatadores meaning they would qualify for the club world cup which kept neymar intent on staying there to compete in the tournament. Also during the summer santos originally set a price but then once teems agreed to meet the price tag they renigged. Also with neymar acknowledging his new prominence he decided to make so rediculous demands to be added on to his contract such as first class flights from brazil and guest housing. With all of this occurring Chelsea decided to step away and stop wasting their efforts until the club and player became reasonable. Somewhere along the lines before the winter transfer window neymar and many other brazilians declared the desire to stay until after the 2014 world cup which is staged in brazil. This lead to a quite winter transfer window in regards to him. Thoughout the summer transfer window media outlets declared that both Madrid and barca had agreed to preterms with the player and club both of which are false. Other difficulties stem from the many sponsorship deals that make up his wages and the fact you can't have co-ownership in england. I hope most of this is factual as I don't want to lead you in the wrong direction. Essay over.

Will Piazon be part of the first team squad this season? And do you know what shirt numbers Hazard and Marin will wear? {Ed002's Note - There is no decision about Piazon just yet, there remains a chance of a loan. I have no knowledge of or interest in shirt numbers. Sorry.}

No way

hes like 19 years old and unproven in europe

alot of you are complaining about hulks 38 mill price tag (someone whos proven in europe)

how can you even justify wanting a 19 year old whos never played outside of brazil for double that of what hulk will cost

doesnt make sense

ED002 is it true RDM may have asked Marcel Desaillay to join the Chelsea back room staff? {Ed002's Note - I don't know.}

Hello ED's.... As I have stated previous times before I do feel for you in regards to getting asked the same questions over and over again. PEOPLE scroll down and read previous posts before asking, many claim to follow the site everyday so you should know the answer to these same questions.

Question ED does Chelsea FC have something about Santos FC as they are/where interested in Neymar and Ganso. Also I don't think many players will be as keen to leave Brazil anymore as a lot of money is being invested there and a lot of people are sponsoring players which results in when they want to jump ship to Europe the prices are astronomical.

Keep up the good work I am a genuine follower everyday and come to you before reading any news paper, media crap.

Beedy192 Chelsea FC Follower {Ed002's Note - Chelsea do not have "something about" Santos and actually have much stronger ties with Fluminense. Part of the problem in Brazil is sponsorship of players wages is a pretty fickle affair so some players do want to move to Europe. Many move on third party ownership deals which means they cannot play in England.}

here's one way to solve our rb prob.....

get debuchy or piczcek who are what 26 or 27.....they certainly have 4-5 top years left in them....make todd kane the second-choice, this way he could gain valuable inputs from them similar to how bertrand is learning from cole....
if ivan doesnt agree to become our permanent rb, then sadly we have to let him go....however hutchinson could become our ivan 2.0..i.e cover for both cb and rb

here's hoping to the best

as usual first class defending by jt [thats why jt was picked and not you rio ]all talk again about goal line technology on sky ,well if the referees assistant had done his job right in the first place ie, a yard offside,we would not have to listen to it again and again !!!..rayzor

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Ed, any idea if goal line tech will only decide on whether the ball crosses the line, or if the goal is legitimate? {Ed002's Note - I don't understand the question - or at least the second part. Sorry.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Will offsides, etc, be taken into account with goal line tech, when deciding if a goal crossed the line and whether it should be given?

Thanks, Craig {Ed002's Note - It is simply a yes or no decision whther or not the ball has crossed the line.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Thanks Ed, it'll differ from Rugby then where they consider the grounding of the ball and where the player remained in play.

In last nights situation, the goal would have been given, although it was scored from an offside position. I say scrap the technology.

Much rather see Jack Rodwell and Ross Barkley come in than Marouane Fellanini, both home grown players and might be abit cheaper, thoughts Ed?. {Ed001's Note - both of the youngsters have suffered injury issues, most likely down to Everton's training, which is far too tough for youngsters, but it does make their purchase a risk. The damage that has been done, by Moyes pushing them too hard physically while their bodies are still growing, could be irreparable. Similar to the way Michael Owen is a shell of a player due to damage done as a youngster.}

Believable0 Unbelievable2

Interesting, Is there any reason why Moyes pushes them so hard? And are other teams notably better at treating youngsters than Everton, or is it just the way the game is now?
