In Response- you are forgetting a couple things, Chelsea are a team with very little English Players filling the quota, i agree with majority of what you said BUT we won't get all Foreign players an we certainly won't be splashing the cash, I personally as a Cheslea FAN! would like to see us bid for players like Andy Carrol, Connor Wickham, Michah richards or even the young non league player i read about on SSN yesterday, Good Young English players who will work for the team and know how we operate.
ED, do you know if Chelsea are one of the teams interested in The young startlet Wickham?

Van Aanholt, Bruma, Kakuta are not English but they still are counted as home-grown. Bruma is still younger, but Kakuta and Aanholt will be over 21 in some year and a half time i think.

Heard from a source within the club that Abramovich has officially closed his cheque book. Will post with further info.
He did it years ago. Chelsea will sign nobody this month, and maybe two players in the summer, both unexpected transfers because of Chelsea's playing in Europa League next season.
