Bad news for you guys,
Suarez handed an 8 game ban and 40 fine. Terry will get at least the same but probably more.

Can't see how Terry can get worse than Suarez if found guilty. Evra was abused through out the game.

Terry is England captain, therefore they will try to use him as an example by punishing him worse than suarez thats IF he is found guilty.

..though no one (but Evra) heard it
with Terry we all saw it....once the courts
have finished with him he will be out for months

You cannot punish 2 players who have committed the same offence in 2 different ways. It would be completely unfair. Therefore, IF Terry is found guilty (and I reckon he will be) he should get the same punishment as Suarez.
Also, will be interesting to see if the police get involved now that Suarez has been charged by the FA.

There may be an announcement on Terry this afternoon from the CPS. I wonder if Chelsea have held their own internal investigation? Seems the clubs (also Liverpool) are more interested in their assets than kicking racism out.

Hi Ed
Piazon seems to be adapting to London life well. how far away do you think he is from the first team?
thanks {Ed002's Note - 18 months, perhaps a year. He may go on loan for part of next season.}

Hi Chelsea fans. Just a quick question and would appreciate your honest opinions as I am not trying to stir anyone up here.
How do you rate Liverpool's chances of making top four this season based on what you've seen? It is either the rose-tinted view (like me) or the doom merchants on our site, so thought I would seek a neutral(ish) viewpoint.
For the record - I think you lot will make it if Torres starts finding the net consistently - the lad is class and I don't believe he is finished yet.
Thanks for your time.

I firmly believe the 3rd and 4th spots are up for grabs between Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool. Any two could make it, but if i were a betting man my money would be on Chelsea and Spurs, as long as Spurs can maintain momentum (which im sure they can what with the lack of European football), and as long as AVB can ensure either the old guard are on side, or he brings in enough players in the winter to make the big egos less influential. I think Pool will finish behind Arsenal

Personally I can't see Liverpool making the top 4, I think there are four better teams in the league. Chelsea, Spurs, United, City. Next year would be a better bet. However you should have done better this season as you are not in European comps.

I think it depends on Suarez's fitness and the quality available on the wings and in the center of midfield. Pool have a good defence and Reina is still an okay goalkeeper. To be honest, without Suarez in CF, Bellamy and Downing have no one to create an end product (as lets face it Carrol is awful) so to lose him for any period of time would be a major problem to any top 4 hopes.

8 match ban for Suarez = zero chance of top 4

Thanks for the replies. I do agree with nits and pieces, but I am unsure about Spurs. They have some momentum at the moment, but not sure if that will continue all season - perhaps you lot can knock 'em down a peg on Thursday.
As for the Suarez ban - yes, that will hurt us, but I still believe we have the squad to win enough games to stay in touching distance by the time he returns.
Good luck anyway - may you come a respectable fifth ahead of Spurs!

Reina is still an ok goalkeeper? he's the best in the league.
