The ship is sinking , we need all hands to the deck and the dead wood , must be chucked over board .
Bring in new fresh faces , the old guard are going through the motions , wouldn't happen outside Chelsea football club.
Winning does not mean enough to these millionaires.

Anyone remember Terry and Carvalho partnership? Cole on the left, Ivanovic on the right? That defence won us the title 2/3 times and look at us now. De Bruyne looked classy against Ivan, Bosingwa and David Luiz (Who shouldn't be taking penalties!). Point is, we need a new defence in CB and RB. I think we should look at someone like Kompany who throws effort into every tackle or Koscielny, who is determined to win any challenge he makes. Any thoughts Ed? {Ed003's Note -Kompany is class imo}

Exactly my point Ed! AVB is wondering how City have become so powerful this year and it is due to the fact they are strong across the pitch. Abramovich, act quickly before the FP rules come in and buy at least 2 for every position we need to strengthen in and one of them should be World-class or have that potential. Get Mourinho back, sort out the defence, buy the players we NEED and get Hiddink as Director of Football. These four things and we will be top-level again.

Does anyone know how to shut Tony Gale up on sky sports, the whole game he wouldn't shut up about Torres, give the guy a brake. It must be difficult for Torres when we can't create a single chance for him in 90 mins, oh and what a fantastic 1-2 with Ramires for the goal.

Lock him in an aquarium with a whole bunch of angry Narwhals?
Equation of Torres:
Torres scores with service.
De Bruyne+Mata=Service
So...
(Mata+DeBruyne)×Torres÷Goalkeeping=Goals Squared.
Equation of football club sucess:
Goals+Skill×Workrate=Victory
Victory times (League+Cup competitions)= Silverware.
Silverware=Happy fans and board.
Equals investment and no manager minus.
Simple Mathematics really.

Spot on cozinoz. We ripped 50 million of chelsea, or was it simply roman's foolishness?
i find it difficult to see chelsea challenging for da title, n im not disappointed with liverpool being drawn with chelsea for the carling cup. How abt a double misery for the blues when suarez rips apart ur terrible defense?

Tony Gale is an absolute dimwit, kept on banging on about the Torres of old would of done this and that and would be more direct and run at players, when he did it and lost the ball he was abusing him again. Also can you imagine what he would of said had Torres missed Lampard's chance? Also he kept on talking about playing sturridge ( if Torres had failed to square the ball against Arsenal or not scored the chance that sturridge volleeyed wide, it would of been the Torres of old would of scored) through the middle and saying that anelka and malouda had been better than Torres and he should make way. How many chances did Torres miss? yeah that is what i thought.
i cringe whever i see Torres being flanked by 2 of Anelka, Maplouda & Kalou or a midfield trio of mikel, ramires and lampard. Merieles, Mata and Sturridge have to play with Torres
Torres was not great but Malouda and Anelka were not better and did nothing of any significance

Main poster! Give Torres a "brake" ? I thought he had chucked the anchor over the side last January. haha!!

I think AVB may be gone before the end of the season , cant see a thing of yet , that lends to him having a clue.
The team is slow , disjointed , non creative , lazy , devoid if ideas , no fight no heart , no confidence and no defense .
If Genk were a premier team we would have got spanked big time . We need Jan to come asap and invest heavy in some defenders or were finishing 10th and AVB is toast .
How lack of invention and game plan made Genk Boo us for keep going backwards , how style of play was embarrassing !
When we play any of the top 8 teams I am going into hiding because, i can foresee Chelsea getting some proper hidings of the likes of spurs , Newcastle and Liverpool that kills me to say that .
we looked like a 3rd division outfit tonight .
The cracks are appearing everywhere in this team, just keep in your head this was Genk and even they scored against us !

Did Luiz or Bosingwa actually make a tackle all game. Most the time, they were in advanced attack positions, committing fouls, wasting chances and possession or complaining to the ref. Sort it out AVB!

I dispair. Did we actually learn anything from the Arsenal game? They are playing exactly tha same way too high up the pitch and get caught on the break by the quicker Genk youngsters while Bosingwa and Ivanovch are spitting their guts out. AVB, don't think the players let you down mate. It is the other way around.

You can call me a person but the OP said he has 'had enough of Chelsea'.
Man City are trying to recruit fans at the mo - you'll get a free plastic flag; zero atmosphere at matches; and you can be guaranteed completely different players every single season - just like Chelsea really.

After that Game, we need to scrap the defence except possibly Ashley Cole.
Agree if you would pay for tickets to watch this team:
Cech
Albiol Subotic Cahill Cole
Mata Mereiles De Bruyne Hazard
Torres Tevez
Subs: Lampard, Sturridge, Romeu, Luiz, Terry, Courtois, Mcheacran.
Torres will score with service and what did he get none of? Proper Service!

How bad chelsea is going is well and truly reflected by their supports. I mean look at u, how easily u are saying to let go of Drogba and anelka. Drogba is a legend of ir club having scord arng 145 goals and the same goes for anelka!!
show some spirit. if u want then take a look at liverpool page u will find true support.

Red hims your talking out of your arse , you don't play and pay people in professional football becaus they are so called legends , because by that rational you would be still be playing Ian Rush up front . Another thing , every time Liverpool get beat I notice the Liverpool support pouring out the ground in droves before the game is finished, is this the loyal supporters your referring to ? Do me a favour , glass house and stone !

The Man City striker Carlos Tevez may have fallen out with Roberto Mancini, but according to his agent Kia Joorabchian the Argentinian hitman would like to remain in the Premiership, which immediately makes Chelsea as the only viable possible destination.
Roman Abramovich has started a massive rebuilding program at Stamford Bridge, and Chelsea are the only other team in the Premiership with the ability (or the inclination) to pay Man City’s asking price and the players massive wages if he stays in England.
Joorabchian said last night: “His family are now living in England, so he’s quite happy and settled,” said Joorabchian.
“He had some problems about being away from them before, but they are with him now and everything is fine. He’d be happy to move to another Premier League club.”
Tevez would not be welcome back at Old Trafford after his move to rivals City, and both Tottenham and Arsenal have no intention of breaking their rigid pay structure to accomodate such a highly paid player. Liverpool have already invested heavily in strikers which means that Stamford Bridge must surely be the new home for the 27 year-old.
Chelsea have already made it clear that the ageing pair of Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba are expected to leave next summer leaving space for Tevez in the squad, and Roman Abramovich must surely be drooling over the possibility of having an in-form pairing of Fernando Torres and Carlos Tevez spearheading Chelsea’s assault on the Champions League.
ED is there any truth in tis story or is media crap? {Ed002's Note - Any truth in what part of it? It just looks like a blog entry to me.}

I would love him at the Bridge, but sadly I dont see it happening.

The last thing Chelsea need right now is Tevez. He has caused problems everywhere he's gone and barley speaks English. I seriously doubt Chelsea are interested in him, and would be disappointed if they were.

Why do people want Chelsea to sign all these big names? Why don't we sign players that can do the job? Look at Demba Ba for example, he's already got two Newcastle hat-tricks.
