Ed001 said it will be Enrique
So that's what I believe
You lot can talk to your blue in the face about Napoli Laurentia release clauses money we don't want to spend
Compensation package
What Sardi has said in the past
What Enrique has said in past
Maybe Conte will stay
Stop it's all rubbish you know why. none of us no a damn thing until CFC want us to know bar the eds
We no zilch Twitter zilch daily Star zilch sky sports a big zilch
By the beginning of next season we I guess just a hunch will have a manager
And that's when IL talk about the new manager
What is the point in getting all worked up over something we know nothing about
Your like a pack of women when there friend is pregnant
I think it's a boy . no it's definitely a girl it could be gender fluid erm
Who cares
There is nothing we can do but get behind the guy at the start of pre season when it starts other than that taking a slash in a hurricane.

Not going to lie to you Loko but the woman comparison was pretty odd i must say. In terms of this whole manager sitiation us not knowing anything is the problem, everybody is told something different everyday. People just want this managerial position sorted out so we can focus on our targets. But when you see this whole thing with Sarri it continues to raise questions on our board. I haven't believed everything i've seen regarding this whole fiasco but it's clear it's just been a big mess and there must be truth in some of it. Some people don't realise how important it is in seeing who the next manager will be so of course they'll be a lot of attention regarding it. We all know if Conte stays Hazard is likely leaving as well as a few others. No player is bigger than the club but with us already falling behind the others losing Hazard will be a huge blow. People want Sarri because he could be the most likely manager to convince Hazard to stay because of the football he provides. So when we all see these rumours about us not paying the clause and what not people will get frustrated. No doubt in my mind that the majority of the fans will get behind whoever is in charge once it happens but with little options out there people are becoming desperate in wanting everything done quickly. You're right though we'll just have to wait and see, but it is hard not getting caught up with all the rumours since us fans want the best options out there.

Just watched our 2012 Champions League win on TV. What a night. The Memories Roman has given us Chelsea fans. I hope he gets his visa issues sorted but fully understand if he sticks both fingers up to the uk and let's the club run without his investment. Would mean us competing for 4th place and maybe a cup but that is how it goes. 1 billion investment for 19,000 seats and 40 million a year extra income was bordering on absurd anyway. 20 plus years to pay back the loan! I hope he stays and things settle down but if he goes there will be plenty of takers. In the meantime I expect this uncertainty to continue for a long time yet. Put yourself in Romans shoes for a minute. Would you really care that much about the next manager or what players are going to come in when you have to pay off the current manager and pay a release clause to a club for a manager they don't want? And all along in a country that is making things very difficult for you? If I was Roman I would stick more than 2 fingers upto the UK. It might be very painfall and frustrating to a lot of you wanting a new manager and new players, myself included in that, but I think maybe there has been an underlying political situation brewing for a long time now and hence the situation the club are now in. Just my thoughts. In any event always Chelsea for me and as a supporter of many years including a former season ticket holder in the Mathew Harding Upper and proud to of followed Chelsea home and away I always take the rough with the smooth and savour the highs like our recent FA Cup win over Man U. (plus of course Liverpool loosing the Champions league final) and Spurs never winning anything. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜.

Going Loko and G8, enjoyed your posts.
Two of the best so far this window in my opinion!

G8: You are like an overgrown kid at times. RA is the saviour of Chelsea there is no doubt and he was welcomed here with open arms yet following the Salisbury incident all so called oligarchs are being asked to justify where their wealth came from. Whatever he has done for us is one thing but he has been, along with many others, under scrutiny worldwide for his apparent, meteoric accumulation of wealth following the fall of the USSR. He's the one that has thrown his toys out the pram, no response to the questions and runs off to get Israeli citizenship. If he does not satisfy the UK authorities THEY will stick two fingers up at him! Be an obsessive Chelsea fan but don't let it get in the way of commonsense.

C1955 We all know you are just about the most negative person on this site when it comes to the club but to now start slating Roman when you have no idea what is going on behind the scenes beggars belief. Tom B thanks for your kind comments.

G8: I am well aware of what is going on with RA as far as the Government is concerned and your "if I was Roman I would stick more than 2 fingers up to the UK" was puerile rubbish. He is not bigger than the system. Matt Martin holds the "negative crown" and I support much of what he says.
Keep wearing those blue tinted glasses and focus on the team and nothing else meanwhile I will continue supporting the team I have for longer than you have been born.

Nice to hear that Loko and thanks for the comment Tom B. Always positive about life unlike 1 or 2 on here who enjoy doom and gloom and toxicity.

aurelio de laurentiis Must be one of the hardest people to deal with in football and I imagine he really doesn't like Chelsea F. C.

He's building a reputation for himself that will surely backfire. I think he's worse than D. Levy of Spurs. He gets players in their weak or desperate moments and plays hardball later.

I doubt it would backfire, his good at what he does. His been like this for many many years, he probably dislikes us more than other clubs given that we have been the club that have given him the most headache with transfers, Cavani, Higuain, Koulibaly, Sarri etc, may have missed others. He was right in all of them as he went out And got more money for sales or will get More for sales.

Now reporting that Sarri unlikely to be appointed Chelsea manager due to previous behaviour. Bizarre in the extreme. If we were ever interested surely somebody is responsible for some kind of due diligence on the man. If true, throw the odd transfer behaviour over the last two to three years into the mix and there is something wrong somewhere.

Clubs know for along time what his said in past, itโ€™ll be for to release Claus etc and paying for him to come.

Have patience fellow CFC Fans, just because the club is not doing what we expect doesn't mean nothing going on.

My opinion is that whilst they are sorting out the legalities of appointing Sarri, they in contact with him to get the green light on transfers, which talks are going on behind the scenes. Once everything in place im sure the club will announce.

whether RA remains or leaves it has no bearing on the manager or transfers, these will still happen, and if he goes a new buyer or buyers will then invest once more.

We all like to play fantasy football, but in the real life the club is doing what it can with its cards to its chest, which is wise.

whilst agree it can waiting for news can be frustrating, true fans will always have faith in the club.

If they're going to aim to appoint Sarri through what's legal, and illegal, then we'll be waiting a little while longer yet. and in all probability if we go that route, Sarri won't be in charge by the time the first game of the season rolls around.

People tend to forget that Sarri's targets will more than likely be concentrating solely on the World Cup. Time is running out. and fast.

Patience! While it may be frustrating, especially if you consider the last two windows. However, in the club we must trust!

Also if I read correctly in numerous places, the club has a view on ins and outs with lewa, martial, seri and bailey positively linked. Add to that Allison or Lafont or Butland if Tibo moves.

Of course being in a silence mode, the club is keeping its card close to the chest but it does fuel speculations.

Managers are generally transient - so Sarri or any other (Blanc or Avram - both no for me though), its really the club philosophy which should prevail or continue.

Another week or 10 days and then we may push the panic button since it'll be world cup time and anything can happen post that.

Roman on the other hand has probably outlived his tenure. He is the one who had put the club on the map, credit to him - however, this for me is the trickiest one since that could really alter a club philosophy on who comes on board (if there is a genuine move happening on that front) . Having said that there are lot of speculations regarding the break away league and what not - so probably things will in any case change for the future. for the good or bad only time could tell.

But let's unhold the love for football and the club foremost at all times.

Blue is the Color. It remains for me for sure.
