Just been watching videos of Fabian Castillo from FC Dallas and I've been impressed. I'm not saying I want Chelsea to buy him because I know there is no interest any way but he could be a good player in the future because he is very skilful and a hard working player. What do you guys think.

I'm still rather sceptical about Cuadrado. On one hand he would be perfect for the RWB position, coming back off a very good season on loan at Juventus and a player Conte has admired for a long time. On the other hand, however, I remember just how poor and unable to adapt to the premier league he was which is still a concern. The talent is quite clearly there but I have my doubts. In saying that, however, I'm more than happy to give him another chance to see how it pans out under a new manager and potentially using a different system.

Saim, I think that's a bit harsh on Cuadrado. Under Mourinho he was given 10 minutes here and there - he only started 4 games and was substituted in each of them. He needs to be given a run in the team.

I do agree I might be being harsh but in the minutes he did get he was truly awful and i don't think you can really argue with that. He looked weak, his touch was poor and couldn't seem to do anything right. As I said though, under a different system and manager and if given a chance it'll be interesting to see if he can do better as we didn't get to see the real Cuadrado in his 6 months here. My main concern is that he will not adapt to the physicality of the prem.

He did look poor, particularly towards the end of his short spell. he's clearly a confidence player. Hopefully played in a position that suits him and he understands and with a Manager who supports him, he'll show signs of the player we thought we were getting.

Personally I'd hate to see Costa leave as he's one of the very few in the squad who seems to be a natural born winner and he'll do anything to win.
We can't let Atletico take him unless we get either Griezmann or Saul Niguez in return who are two quality players. Griezmann preferably as he's a natural finisher and can play anywhere along the front three. Then maybe we can go for a Morata type who holds the ball up well and brings the others into play.
We really do need to concentrate on getting a CB signed though and as soon as possible hopefully it will be Koulibaly.

With regards to Juan Cuadrado, Conte stressed once more that he was very keen to work with him this season and was looking forward to doing so. Conte said Michy Batshuayi has arrived in good physical condition, while the boss has been delighted to see Kurt Zouma out training with the group as our French defender continues his recovery from a cruciate ligament injury.
‘Today he started the aerobic work for the first time, ’ Conte revealed.
‘When we have a very strong situation, no [he is not involved]. We wait because we must respect the right time for him.
‘Now we are preparing for him to go and train when there aren’t very strong situations. He has also started to play our idea of football when we have the ball, and also without the ball.

He would be a more regular starter than Kenedy, I think more like Pedro, You have to remember he has played almost 3 full seasons for Santos and has now broken into Brazils first team and considering the price paid i'm guessing would be around 30 million, there would also be more pressure to play him . But from what I've seen he looks ready.

I understand a 'certain group' are training on their own including Van Ginkel, Piazon and Marin. I understand they are all likely to leave.
