This is going to be controversial but the injury to JT maybe a blessing in disguise as it meant Branna coming in at CB (his natural position) Dave moves to RB (his natural position) and the excellent Baba comes in at LB! Suddenly we look well balanced at the back. Round pegs in round holes.

I agree with it in part but not Rahman. He had a better game last time out but I do not see him our answer to left back. Gets caught out of position far too easily. It is a position I would try and fill pre-next season. Hiddink had another go at Hazard yesterday, this being at least four comments made about attitude and his fitness. The former is a disgrace and latter even worse seeing we are into February. Whatever he might say I cannot see him being with us next season and it might not be his decision.

I don't think you can properly judge Baba unless he gets a proper run in the team, which it looks like he might do for a bit.

Hi ed
In the midst of this manager merry go round that seems to be taking place currently I've seen chelsea linked with the majority of our targets. In the last week alone I've heard we've agreed a deal with allegri simeone conte and that sampouli has put himself back in the running too. I was curious to know who you thought as things stand will end up as the manager.

{Ed002's Note - There is no decision at this time. All have their merits.}

Hi Edd, could you help to tell me the probability of the following loan players getting in and around the first team squad next year:
Lewis Baker
Issiah Brown
Nathan
Dominic Solanke
Nathan Ake
Mario Pasalic

Thanks in advance, Tom.

{Ed001's Note - need to know the manager first.}

I think Ake might have the best chance. He's already starting in the Premier League and he's a very versatile player as he can cover both at left back and central midfield, which is useful.

Would Cavani be a good signing even though he'll be 30? I can see the bench time at PSG maybe saved some miles on him but if the right price I wouldn't mind him.

I think he would be a decent signing at a price as there will be little resale value in him. We might manage to parlay price versus salary although at his age China must loom large. He has a good left and right foot and can head the ball, the latter is something we are missing with Costa.
