Can i just make something clear now, ive been called a plastic fan and a disgrace amongst other things and its bang out of order. My old man has been going to Chelsea games for 30 years, thick and thin, he shares my opinion, is he a plastic fan and a disgrace?, he has been goin with the same group of blokes for 30 years who also share the opinion, are they plastic fans? i live in the midlands now, so only manage to get down to the bridge 4 or 5 times a season, i ALWAYS do at least 7 or 8 away games a year around the midlands, manchester, liverpool etc (the games i can get too), me and my family are big chelsea fans, we have a lot to do with a lot of other chelsea fans, a very high and increasing percentage of the people i know share the opinion, are they all plastic fans and a disgrace? if you actually go to the games the atmosphere is different, a very high and increasing number of fans share the same opinion, are they all plastic fans and a disgrace? If you think that i am in the minority, then its not possible for you to be getting to games and to be mixing with a high number of chelsea fans, if your not getting to any games and are not mixing with other chelsea fans, which is blatant that your not, then it is YOU, not me, that are the plastic armchair fans,

If there is any other regular game goers here then they will know that the atmosphere is a lot darker and a very high percentage of the crowd are not at all happy with AVB's decisions, it is just not possible for you to be proper fans if you think i am in the minority,

real fans opinion beats forum fans opinion all day every day

SHED END

Believable8 Unbelievable3

I think your on the wrong Forum mate.

I think you was looking for Manchester City. Must have come here by mistake. Don't trip on the way out.

AVB to bring stability. Unlike some who are too dumb think about financial implications even though we record losses year in and year out. AND don't give me the if's and but's

SK

Agree3 Disagree6

How do you know forum Fans don't watch real games. Go fix up dude.

Agree4 Disagree2

I dont think your the minority SHED, you see my opinion is it is the majority of chelsea fans that boo the coach and some of the players. This majority booed Mourinho out of a job because of his defensive tactics and the same majority chanted his name the other day (ironic). Although you have supported the team for a long while I think you have let the last 10 years get to you and for some reason you think Chelsea desrve all the success in the world. Times have been much darker than this for our club and its the MAJORITY of the fans that make me ashamed to support Chelsea in times like this.

I dont know why you think you are better than anyone on here but your not. I myself have never got to a Chelsea game so do i not qualify as a Chelsea fan? I do however buy a membership every year, and watch almost every game of every season. Some would say a man who lives in a foriegn place that pays a fee out of love for a club would be a better supporter than you. I think all Chelsea supporters are equal, some are just a little more naive than others.

I'm going to try and forget your post and guess you had, had a big night on the terps because your one person on here whos opinions i respect. But dont put down the rest of the supporters for having an opinion.

After all your a real fan on a forum page, kinda makes you a forum fan aswell.

Melbourne CFC

Agree2 Disagree1

Don't worry bout being called a plastic fan that's just a easy thing to have thrown at you. Don't really understand how anyone can question someone's support for the club ( they don't know you personally ). On footballing matters my patience is wearing a bit thin. I've always said the club would go backwards before it went forwards in transition and we would have to support a manager in this period. What I don't understand is that team selection, tactics, substitutions and the pattern of play in the team are hopeless. Unfortunately the manager is very responsible for these matters. I hope things improve as I don't want to see another sacked manager, but I'm not hopeful
Jimbo

Agree0 Disagree1

SK, after that reply your clearly an idiot, so if anyone has a different opinion than yours they should leave the forum ans support another team, do you think your intimidating?, trying to stamp your authority on a forum you alpha keyboard warrior? back in the armchair pal

Second poster, if anyone thinks i am in the minorty, it is not possible for them to be getting to games and mixing with other fans, its as simple as that, are you suggesting that more fans are happier with AVB than unhappier, cus thats just outrageous, but i like your usage of 'fix up', guessing your 11/12 years old??

SHED END

Agree0 Disagree1

Melboure, when have i once said i want success? ive said lots of times id rather finish mid table with young hungry players, than 4th/5th/6th with players i have no respect for, its not about winning or losing for me, its about ENJOYING it, i ENJOYED being a fan most mid 90's when we were mid table, i am not enjoying it now, its as simple as that, trophies and success doesnt come into for me

I have got every right to be defensive, ive been called plastic, stupid, dumb and a disgrace by people who are obviously not going to the games, everyone is entitled to there opinion, if you disagree thats fine, but dont get aggresive and personal like a lot of the posters against me have FIRST

You live in another country, it wasnt aimed at you, dont speak to me like im unreasonable or have a chip on my shoulder when you dont know me, i spend a lot of money i havnt got going to games im not enjoying, becasue of this my opinion does count a damn site more than armchair fans who havent got a clue what the true majority of fans are thinking

To clarify, i have got every right to defend myself, i wasnt the one that started getting aggresive and personal, and im sorry but i dont think all supporters are equal, my old mans been goin 30 years and hes been called a disgrace by mugs on here who clearly arent active fans for having a different opinion

SHED END

Agree1 Disagree1

SHED END your views are crazy pal.

Agree1 Disagree2

An idiot????

Actually i'm a realist unlike yourself who seems deluded especially after saying forum fans are not real fans.

Disgraceful

I respect Melbourne CFC AND PB's views and don't act like forum bullies in pointing their views across

Agree0 Disagree1

My post - SK

Agree1 Disagree0

If you dont go the games, your an armchair fan, i couldnt care less what anyone here thinks of me, especially armchair fans, and im the one acting like a bully, your got aggressive and personal first pal, i can tell by the way your talking youve never been a game, your a child, you would of jumped in immediatley sayin you went to games if it was the case, you are the disgrace my friend, why dont you start your own forum called 'im SK everyone agree with me, AVB is doing a fantastic job, if you dont like it support Man City', mug

SHED END

Agree1 Disagree1

Here we go once again, calling us ARMCHAIR Fans without knowing whether we watch chelsea games live or not. Jumping to conclusions once again.

Statement of fact i'm not a child and for your reference i have been to several games but not recently due to other commitments.

Your Comments and the fact that you think you know it all just bacuse you go to games is appauling and i am starting to think - Are you really a child. And no i'm not going to stoop to your level and call you a child because i don't jump to conclusions.

SK

Agree1 Disagree2

So shed end what about us who are not fortunate enough to be able to afford to go see games or live in a different country? I live in australia and i watch every game on tv because thats the best i can do and if that means waking up at 3 in the morning, so be it. And i pride my self on being a chelsea supporter because i will support
players and coaches through thick and if thin.

Agree2 Disagree0

So SK, how can you give a fair assesment of what the current crowds at games think, when you havent been to a game recentley. I HAVE been to games recentley, more people want AVB out than in, are they all wrong and you right? At least half of the current fans at games want AVB gone, are you branding all of them stupid and a disgrace too

P.S, your an person mate, poked me and poked me til i retalliate then play hard done too, i assumed you were a child becasue you resorted to name calling because i had a different opinion than yours you see

Other poster, ive said it once already if your in a different country there is not much you can do. Why would you support players and coaches through thick and thin, i support the CLUB through thick and thin, im not supporting people i have no respect for, these people are payed more in a year than i will earn in my life and they are just not working hard enough, in any other job if the staff where underperforming as much as we have been they'd be out the door, this is not just a small blip, this is a very prolonged absolute meltdown in form

SHED END

Agree1 Disagree1

I give up on this guy. I'm glad Roman doesn't think like him otherwise AVB would be long gone.

As i say go support Man City. That is where you will find immediate success. Just like Melbourne i agree, i support chelsea coaches and players through thick and thin. Stability FIRST AND THEN SUCCESS.

SK

Agree1 Disagree1

Shed End Give it a break pal. Your views are so childish and immature.

Jeez i used to respect your posts on here.

Davis

Agree1 Disagree1

I feel offended by this guy. WE Forum Fans are REAL FANS. GRRRRRR

Agree1 Disagree1

Man City are calling you shed.

Agree1 Disagree0

Actually shed end, anyone who puts even the slightest bit of money into the club deserves an opinion, whether that be going to games, buying a shirt, or even having a subscription to sky/espn. If it wasn't like that, then a clubs fan base would be the size of the stadium, and would make most clubs unsustainable, especially us. So although I tend to usually agree with most of your comments on here, I think you're pretty wide of the mark when u call anyone who deist go to every game an "armchair fan"

NP

Agree1 Disagree0

I have no problem with most forum fans or armchair fans, everyone should support chelsea, its the forum fans and armchair fans that think they speak on behalf of the majority of the fans, its just not possible to have an accurate outlook if you arent attending the games and mixing with large amounts of Chelsea fans, Again why the Man City thing, im no glory hunter, i dont care about success like ive said 20 odd times, id rather finish midtable playing the kids than get 4/5/6 with the team he's selecting now. Listen i wont use the forum again, no problem for me i use other chelsea forums too, i hope im wrong and hes a big success but i cant see it, its just a case of how far you are all willing to let it slide before you say enough is enough

SHED END

Agree0 Disagree1

I actually must admit, i am quite dissapointed with Shed's comments. Normally he is spot on but for now i agree with NP. It's not all about watching chelsea live, it's how revenue can be made for the club which ultimately helps the club.

Shak

Agree1 Disagree1

Pathetic. Once again puts the Fans who can't watch the games at stamford bridge down and refers to them as ONLY forum and armchair fans.

Just because you have been to a couple of games doesn't mean you hold a loyalty card. Read NB'S comments and digest that into you head. Your Shockingly scary and an insult to the chelsea fans. Your way of thinking surely would demolish the Club. Just concerned about stadium revenue and not giving a monkeys about other ways the club tries to make money.

SK

Agree1 Disagree0

Nice having you here, comments were appreciated Shed.

Davis

Agree1 Disagree0

Are you not dissapopinted with me being called a disgrace, stupid, dumb? are my opinions valid up until someone disagrees then i suddenly become wrong, your missing the point, he said i was in the minority in thinking AVB wasnt right for the jobs, if you dont go to the games and mix with other chelsea fans how can you state who is or isnt the minority. Yea armchair fans opinions count but not when theyre based on assumptions that aint true. I can assure you i go to a lot of games and mix with a lot of fans and the people who blindy have faith in AVB are in the VAST minority, so if your branding me a disgrace and stupid for my opinion, your branding a very high percentage of your teams own fans a disgrace and stupid, its probably best for you that you dont get too any games pal. You can all say what you like, i wont back down, im saying what i believe to be best for the club,

Low point on this site besides all this, i put happy birthday osgood the legend or something like that and some person disagreed, and your questioning me as the true fan

SHED END

Agree0 Disagree1

So only people who go to games are real supporters?? I still havent heard one person say if we got rid of AVB what a viable plan b would be?? PLus if you think you speak for the people that wont AVB out then fair enough but if you think they wouldnt mind finishing 9th playing a reserve squad the rest of the season and having uproar and carnage happen in the locker room and media interviews then your deluded.

PB

Agree1 Disagree0

We are all chelsea fans so everyone stop bitching. Thats whats wrong with our team too many voices. These high influences in the changing room have only got 2/3 years left anyway. I am not impressed with AVB but we cant keep firing our manager, give him 1 year if hes still not got a clue then get rid. My other team Rangers are deep in the s**t. But we all stick together, WE ARE THE PEOPLE! Now lets all get behind the chelsea like we do with rangers. I do not want offend anyone. Come on boys no more bitching get behind the team and follow the Rangers model our fans love the team win, lose or draw! Mon the chelsea!

Agree1 Disagree0

It's because of fans like shed end , that I stopped going to games. I was season ticket holder for 10 years , then the influx of glory hunting clowns like shed end appeared when roman came along , all the singing stopped and the flag waving started.
I bet shed end was one of those who boo'd Jose at the end but now wants him back.
AVB has only been in the job 8 months , and how does the old saying go, Rome wasn't built in a day.
Yes he's making afew mistakes , probably too many but I think his hands are tied, too many older players happy to see out there contracts and pick there money up. But the blokes not been give the money to assemble his group of players. And he obviously thinks the younger players aren't capable of getting us into the top 4. He see's them train everyday and is in a better posistion to judge than anyone on here.
So shed end ( or as I like to call you, shed end) keep wearing your replica shirt with " lampard" on the back and playing on your Xbox thinking you know more than everyone else.
Cfcmatt.

Agree1 Disagree0

You cant of read my posts pal if you think im a glory hunter, ive been chelsea through and through all my life, so was my old man and grandad, I dont think AVB is the right man to take us forward, this is the first time ive wanted a manager out, we chose the wrong man, he isnt good enough,

SHED END

Agree1 Disagree0

8 months you mug , he's been in the job 8 months.
What can the bloke do differently if the players don't want to play for him? The players need to take a long look in the mirror and ask themselves " can I do more" and the answer is " yes I can" they need to start earning their vast amounts of money and putting aside their differences with manager and each other and fighting for the cause.
Most of them seem happy to sit back and let the bloke take the blame.
Maybe it's the players ain't good enough to play his style of football , rather than he ain't good enough to manage cfc.
Rameries , came from portugese football and peeps said then he ain't good enough to play for cfc , a year later he's the most improved player , luiz came from portugesse football and people on here are saying he's guna be best centre half in world football in a few years.
Give people time to learn from there mistakes and you will see an improvment.
Cfcmatt.

Agree0 Disagree0

He could try using tactics that work, making good substitutions, and putting decent sides out, I dont care about the league postition or the results, if i thought he was the right man to rebuild it i would be happy having another 2 or 3 seasons of this form, i dont think he is the right man to rebuild it so i think this current situation is all in vain.

The comparison with players is unfair, your talking about young players who we bought before there peak, its worth waiting a year to reep the rewards, we will probably be waiting another 10 years before AVB is a top level manager, hes got so much to learn and not much time to do it, its inevitable he will get sacked before we get too see this plan, RA's track record suggest nothing other than a sacking rightly or wrongly, the question is would it be better he went at the beginning of his plan, half way through his plan, or at the end of his plan regardless of how its been going. In my opinion, which im entitled too, i think it would be best if we let someone do the clearing and rebuilding, and AVB can go off and learn his trade at a lower level

Bottom line is if we had a more experienced manager, with the same set of players, playing the same, with the same attitudes, we would probably be 10 points better off

It would be ideal if AVB started to learn fast and we could keep him, we all want a good young manager to stabalize the club, AVB is a young manager, the good part is very very debatable, Portos team last year couldnt really fail, we are trusing our whole club and whole future in a man with 2 and a half season experience, im concerned that we are not in safe hands

Plastic Fans would only call for AVB to get sacked. Go support Man City if you ain't fxxxxxxg happy. All you want is immediate success not giving a monkeys hell about the players we have and if they are capable of getting success. Give the guy a break and some time to get his own squad together. His been in charge a mere 7 months and his trying to get a grip of the squad and the players. How long did it take Manchini to get to where he is now?? What about fergi when he started? Exactly!!

Soon as times get hard you call for a new manager. Go support Man City you will get success strate away. At chelsea were trying to build and the sooner you accept this the better.
SK

Believable6 Unbelievable4

Agreed I want him to have his chance to re build our squad. No other manager would do it they we'd jus go bak to all the old players which we wanna change we want new era

Agree3 Disagree1

Again another fan who thinks just because he backs AVB everyone else is wrong and a plastic fan. What makes you a real fan? Because you come on here and swear telling other people their not real fans because they don't have the same opinion as you? Get a grip SK you sound like a full on plank. People can say they want him sacked if they want to, its called free speech, it doesn't mean their wrong. If we win every week they will change their mind, its simple, its called Human Nature.

And just for the record, if AVB can turn it around then yes i would like him to stay in charge.

OsgoodIsKing

Agree2 Disagree5

Well if you want immediate success you know where to head off to? if not stop moaning.

Agree2 Disagree1

Probably aimed at me, i have not once said i want immediate success or a quick fix, i want our manager, whoever it is, too play a mix of our best players and our promising youngsters. If AVB wont do this then i dont want him, iv'e said lots of times id rather see the kids on rather than Malouda and Miereles, so how is that me wanting immediate success? how are we rebuilding when in the last game we played Mikel and Kalou, why not Romeu and Lukaku, ive said id take 8th or 9th this season if we are playing the youngsters. I dont think you have the brainpower to understand, i want AVB to win lots of trophies, i like the bloke i'd shake his hand, at the miunte we are trying to find a medium between rebuilding and maintaining our position, its a balancing act that clearly isnt working and that has to be down to the manager, was part of his 3 year plan to waste the first year? was part of his 3 year plan to lose lots of games and play rubbish football, i dont think so, therefore the plan isnt working. If the plan isnt working we need a new plan. Everyone is holding on to us still being in the FA Cup, do you think we deserve to still be in it, we drew Pompey, QPR, and Brum, now Leicester, its just papering over the cracks, its a massive mess and i dont think AVB has the experience or nouse to solve it, that is my opinion and im entitled to it, if that makes me plastic then im plastic, along with 3/4 of the crowd, and along with half the people on here that wont say anything due to idiots like you saying 'go support man city'

SHED END

Agree2 Disagree2

Aimed at ppl tht want avb sacked.

sk

Agree0 Disagree2

You cant just blame the manager though.

If we had Peter Kenyon still instead of Ron Gourlay then maybe we would have signed Pastore this summer and then i would have thought alot of the slow uncreative play we have would have been solved. His reasons for not coming to the club were that he wasnt assured that he would play regularly, why Ron didnt make him aware he would be our present and future midfielder General i dont no.

Back to the manager, everyone seems to just blame him and its really annoying me. He has Di Matteo assistant manager, Steve Holland 1st team assistant coach, Jose Mario Rocha fitness coach, Daniel Sousa head scout, Dermot Drummy reserve team manager and James Melbourne match analyst, these are his close team and all have there responsibilities to make a successful team NOT just AVB. James melbourne the match analyst i would assume would be saying Miereles/Mikel/Bosingwa/Malouda have been awful this season and the whole team would see this but these are the players we have. If Dermot Drummy thought Piazon or Joshy or Bertrand were good enough to be starting then they would but the whole team doesnt believe it oviously. Dont just always criticise 1 man there is a huge team alot more than ive just listed, i dont like seeing AVB get alot of stick when alot of the management is oviously under performing also.

Until someone says something constructive and viable about getting rid of him and the financial implications this has and replacing him with a viable replacement then its pointless just saying AVB out get someone else, its just the same as saying go out and buy Messi and Ronaldo, its not realistic.

PB

Agree2 Disagree0

Completely agree PB. I couldn't agree more.

Nicely said.

Shak

Agree0 Disagree0

Head against brick wall time pal, we are not going to agree. The manager keeps picking these underperforming players week in week out, it lies with him. If the staff around him arent performing he should sort it out, thats what hes getting paid massive amounts of money to do, to sort the club out, its simple he needs to start doing it fast or he needs to leave and let someone else do it. Like i keep saying, i like the bloke and i do feel sorry for him, but for me that isnt reason enought to have blind faith in him, at the end of the day im a paying customer not a good samaritan, not gonna reply to any more of these its just pointless, no one on here can change my mind, only AVB and the results can

SHED END mate your spot on. Just read through all the comments and its clear your a die hard fan who's grew frustrated with AVB. I'm the same, i've defended him all season and i still think he's a good manager, and i do hope it works out for him because the last thing i want is to have to get another manager in. But when hes making stupid decisions time after time it starts to wear you down and you start losing belief. I think it is unfair to blame Torres solely. How many has Drogba scored this season? It can't just be coincidence that two of the P.Leagues best strikers can't score. Look at Hernandez for United, the guy offers nothing at all, even the United fans acknowledge that. But if he gets 2 or 3 chances he is guaranteed to score, its the rest of the team that make him as good as he is, if he was at a lower league team he would be no where near as good as he is at United. Its the same with us, we need a good strong creative midfield. We've changed it so many times this season that its clear it is the midfield that's the problem. Our play is so slow and predictable, whether that's the managers fault or the player's fault because their not good enough i don't know. It just doesn't help to believe in AVB when he takes off Mata constantly, plays Bosingwa at Left Back and not Bertrand, loans out Josh instead of playing him, plays Mikel etc.

OsgoodIsKing

Believable2 Unbelievable1

We rely on mata to create everything every game so i dont mind him coming off for a short rest (only missed 10 mins of the game why is everyone so mad he had 83 mins to do damage) the poor guy must be knackered. probably played mikel because he hasnt played recently and isnt going to play the champs league games. everyones raving about bertrand when not seen him play and he had a game and looked average and that was against birmingham so lucky he didnt play against united.. josh

Agree0 Disagree0

I think one by one everyone is starting to question it now, how can you not, probably about a month ago i had the polar opposite view, i was on here defending AVB saying we should give him another season, cant do it no more, the list of baffling decisions gos on and on, i dont see how if we have a new set of players that these decisions will suddenly stop and everything will magically become ok. Playing Mikel and Miereles in midfield and then taking Torres off at half time as if just shocking, no wonder hes lost the players. Thing is we dont deserve to be 4th either, if it wasnt for Arsenal and Liverpool having absolute shockers aswel we could be 6th and a good 10 points off 4th, i wonder if that was the case, which it should be, if all the AVB backers would feel the same. Grinds me that just because a couple of posters on here back AVB, im wrong, 3/4 of the fans at the match are wrong, all the pundits and players are wrong, its denile, people are hesitating to come on forums like this saying AVB out because they get there love for the club questioned, im spending far too much time on here having too justify myself as a fan to idoits who dont know me from Adam

SHED END

Agree1 Disagree0

So josh, what your saying is, he was right to play mikel, he was right to take Mata off, and we shouldnt play Bertrand, come on pal you cant be serious, i would have no complaints if he rested Mata, that would be a fair, valid desicion, he chose not too, he chose to play him and take him off, our only creative player, in the last ten minutes of the game when Brum we're looking most stretched and vunerable. But hey i bet he's feeling really fresh now after that 10 minute rest.

SHED END

Agree2 Disagree0

Josh you cant say he was right to play Mikel? We were at home against a Championship side and he plays a holding midfield player? We're chasing a win and he takes off our most creative player? And at one point after we had equalized and were chasing the win, he was telling the players to relax when we had just upped the tempo for the first time and looked like scoring a second? That's not what you want to see as a fan against a Championship side at home. As i said i hope it works out for him, i honestly do. I'm just getting frustrated at the decisions hes making time after time.

OsgoodIsKing

Agree1 Disagree0

I think was right to play bertrand this time but i keep seeing people's dream 11s including bertrand over cole.. yes cole having an average season but still better than bertrand at the moment and i would just blood bertrand in cup games and before champs league if cole needs a rest.

mikel is only 24, was described as gold dust by mourinho, we always play a DM doesnt matter who we play thats expected now. he should have been able to cope against birmingham. not sure why romeu didnt play (if not injured?) but lets hope its cos hes playing vs napoli... if hes not then im baffed with you guys.

with regards to avb's decision making... agree against everton when mereiles was on a yellow and avb dragged mata off at 77 mins was farcical when we were 1-0 down

My Chelsea starting 11 for next season would be...

Buffon

Thuram
Beckenbauer
Terry (c)
Maldini

Makalele
Zidane

Maradona

Messi
Cruyff

Torres

This may shock some people, and I know there is an unrealistic quality to the team but; Torres has got to come good at some point...doesn't he?

Believable5 Unbelievable3

Deffo its the whole team especially the midfield

Agree0 Disagree0

In this team Torres would score 30+ goals a season no doubt

Agree0 Disagree4

Haha,Torres score 30 goals, keep it real, all this rubbish about him not getting the service, when he gets it he messes it up,and when all said and done, hes there to score goals, thats what we paid 50 million for,hes consistently failing, time to get rid.

Hi ed i just want to know why we gone for an inexperienced manager for this transitional period {Ed002's Note - He was the person deemed most suitable for the job who was available.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

But ed he wasn't available he was under contract with Porto such as all suitables managers were. I mean yes Chelsea and Porto reached a financial solution but AVB wasn't on the market, or maybe Ed u mean Chelsea tried for other young manager but were rebuffed by his club kiddin hehe. Thanks Ed {Ed002's Note - No - he was available and that is how he ended up at Chelsea.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi ed were there any other candidates for the managers job or was AVB our 1st choice? I thought we should have tried to lure guardiola from barca {Ed002's Note - Try the archives. I am not going through all of that again.}

Can anybody help with the question above I can't find anything on the archives-to be honest not sure how to!

hi Ed
why does AVB refuse to change some of the tactics he uses even though they dont seem to suit the players or the league. for example not playing a 4-1-2-1-2 with sturridge up front and mata in the hole, plus splitting the centre backs and midfielders sinply makes it harder to play down the wings without anyone holding the centre, henseforth torres getts limited service? and then why did he not prioritize a signing to fit that system instead of a lackluster effort to sign Willian who isnt a natural winger? it just doesnt seem to make sense to me, can you shed any light on the situation, thanks {Ed002's Note - I cannot answer that I am afraid.}

Not even" limited service" ,he(Torres) gets absolutely no service at all.Two clear cut chances in the last 5 matches. How do we expect him to score with stats like those. No wonder both our strikers are struggling to score.

While we and the press go on about Torres we are missing the bigger pisture which is our midfield are just not up to it at the moment. yesterday torres and Drogba did not get the service.

I couldn't agree more. I believe there is a couple of years left in Essien who can do the holding role til Romeu is ready. He is good but just not Essiens class yet He can fill in to give Essien a break. Rameries has to play beside Essien and will do what Lampard did for years although he has more energy and pace. They have the energy to get forward and also protect the back four. I see Kakuta scored yesterday again and I still wouldn't give up hope on him yet. He can breeze past defenders and if he develops on this loan spell could fill that left sided role(and not cost us these huge sums of money being mentioned for some players) Play Sturridge on the right with Mata given a free role to roam behind Torres who I think might still do it for us. If not Torres Falcao

Next year:

cech
rb cahill luiz Cole
de bruyne Ramires
Mata modric hazard
torres

De bruyne is not a holding midfielder, and also it has already been said that he will not be at the club next year as he will most likely be going on loan. {Ed002's Note - That is the plan right now, but it may change.}

Its not as much the results that upset me (and they do) but more so to see sooo many Chelsea supporters on here whinge at every opportunity. Yesterday was NOT our worst performance of the year, came out of the blocks slow again but bounced back really well. I see everyone blaming AVB and while I dont think we should blame anyone I am yet to see anyone blame Juan Mata. Our best player by far yet if he converted from the spot we would all be alot happier.

Ryan Bertrand got a run out which I was excited about but didnt have a game to remember, personally I think only 4 players were worth any mention. Mata, Ramires, Sturridge and Ivan. These players want to be here. You guys belittle and boo AVB but atleast he has shown countless times that he wants to be here, not many of our players have done the same.

Torres still could regain his glory days but in my opinion it is a LONG way off. You cant just continue to blame the midfield for his problems, he hasnt scored a goal in over 1000 minutes and he has had ample opportunites. His first touch is gone to god. I still think he has done a job for us over the last month with terrific assists, my own belief is to put Torres as RW and give sturridge a crack in the middle. He is playing like a winger anyway.

So far this season the fans have booed: Malouda, Kalou, Mikel, Bosingwa and AVB. Dont know about you but this is that one thing that makes me feel ashamed of our club.

Agree with all except I would rather see Lukaku RW then Torres.

I disagree Luiz is a player who gives his all, yes he can be frustrating but give him a season or two and i think he will be a legend. As for Torres he must be regretting coming to us, we have not played to his strengths, at liverpud he was quality the bloke can and i hope will come good.

Agree0 Disagree0

I disagree completely. We're the fans, if the team isn't playing well how else do you vent your frustration? This forum wasn't made to come on here, pick out all the positives and share them. When the team are playing well the fans cheer, we back them, support them, buy the shirts, get the players names on the back, subscribe to Chelsea TV etc. In fact we do that anyway not just when their playing well. If the team are not performing then yes we have a right to boo and let them know its not good enough. And at the moment it isn't good enough. I think players like Malouda and Bosingwa have every right to get booed, i'm currently watching the Everton game on CTV and just saw that first goal again where Bosingwa strolls back to cover and its pure lazyness. He deserves to get booed if he does that. I don't know how you can feel 'ashamed' of your club?
