Jose is part of our history. A truly great manager who won the lot ( well accept the one Robbie won ), he's gone ( and maybe to our rivals Man utd ) . We are not about individuals.

Support the team please so we can move on. I cringed today as fans sung Joses name in front of Roman ( who really is the special one ) and Guus. We are not about one person, remember that. 11 points off 4th. you never know.

yeah is just 11 points. if we go on 6 games winning streak it could be as little as 5.

Look love Roman don't bite the hand that feeds and that but thought he would have had bigger bollox and gone the other way. we all no Jose is going to haunt us in the long run and the trouble makers won't be there to feel it. And Pepe is not even near Jose for being great.

Oscar patting the badge today. This is chelsea. Jose is gone. Look to the future. He lost his job. Hazard and oscar are attacking players not defenders. We've got a great team. We will be unstoppable now.

After today I think van gaal will be sacked and I can see jose going there where he will give them 2 top seasons then do his usual trick of being an idiot in the third. I would like the fa to ask woy to step down and jose take England to the euros and the world cup.
He won't be coming back to cfc so let's get back behind the team.

Hi Ed

Might be a bit out of place given the current focus on the managerial situation, but a few days back you said you might be able to put something together regarding players of interest in january once you weren't travelling - is this possible now?

Thanks a lot.

I'm as big a fan of mourinho as the next Chelsea fan but the chanting for mourinho and the booing the players needs to stop.

Under mourinho people were moaning about how we were playing and how we weren't playing to the strengths of our attacking players. Also moaning he sold such players as mata, de bruyne and lukaku. Moaning he never gave youth a chance.

Now he's gone, supporters and pundits have forgotten all of the above.

Maybe now he's gone our players will be able to play to their strengths and enjoy their football which clearly wasn't happening under mourinho.

Who's to blame if the players aren't enjoying their football?

Now let's just move on and support the team. Forgot what the pundits are saying, whatever decision the board had made it would be the wrong one in the eyes of the majority of the pundits.

Buddy,

Please provide a honest response to the below queries

1. Forget mourinho for the time being, isn't it that the players are supposed to give 100% every match. Did it happen in this season so far?

2. Secondly the style of football depends on your ability to adopt. Last year we played high tempo attacking football till new year. Players were tired after that they couldn't cope up. So it was really the players who define that. No one asked them to pass sideways. is it still mourinho's fault?

3. How many times you saw Costa and other players in the middle of the box today. How many times this happened before in this season? How much of good movement around the box? Aren't they suppose to play this way every game?

4. Mourinho has given to chance to youth players who has shown that they have it in them. Kennedy got lot of minutes this season. RLC case is simple. Mourinho wanted more from him and used benching as a means to kindle that feel in him to become better. Ferguson has done it in the past and so has guardiola and others. Now what is wrong in this approach?

5. The players who were sold except mata were sold for one reason. They wouldn't compete. Guardiola sold ibra for the same reason who was a much better player than these guys at that point of time. Isn't it the right thing to do?

6. Finally the boos are foot not behaving professionally and giving it all on the pitch so far. Well deserved in my view considering the far salaries are paid thru fans money. It's the fans who make the club and the players who they are. Don't you agree?

It's so obvious that Mourinho was sacked by players. What were the reasons will find out someday. The crowd is absolutely shameless today.
if Mourinho is more important than club you support then change the club .
Fully agree with previous poster.

yes players are meant to give 100%

Mourinho changed the style of play after we got beat at Spurs. We played a far more defensive style which doesn't suit our players.

I agree Costa should get in the box far more and it annoys me. At the minute I'd start remy over him.

You can't really say Kennedy has had a lot of minutes. RLC should have been given more of a chance. Taking him off after 45mins when he's not really done much wrong is going to destroy his confidence. I love mourinho but he doesn't know how to trust or bring through young players.

The players who were sold got annoyed at not being given a chance. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks they should have been given more of a chance before being sold. Clearly they are good enough to have made it at Chelsea but weren't given a chance to prove it.

Yes I agree that fans have the right to voice their opinions but sometimes I think fans need to remember what Roman has done for us. Would mourinho ever have come to us if Roman hadn't pumped the money in? I'm guessing no. Roman wants to see us winning and playing good football. so surely he has the right to try and put things right.

King Drogba, do you think Jose would have changed a winning style of play if he wasn't forced to?

Everyone was moaning that Jose kept playing the same underperforming players, but Jose was trying to back them and get them back to their best and yet they turn around and get him fired. If I was in the stands I'd be booing their every touch let alone when they're subbed.

Jose isn't bigger than Chelsea but neither are the players.
And if they're not willing to put in 100% every single game no matter what, then I don't see why I shouldn't boo them.

Also whilst everyone was moaning about different things they still sang Jose's name the loudest because everyone still thought he was the best manager.

The players were giving their full physically, but to give 100%, that should come from inside, that should come from heart, only comes when a player loves his game, and when he is happy. Nobody can force it, not even player himself. Mou could have really avoided the Eva saga, and the public insult our team doctor, I feel unwanted controversies really affected our team morale. We could have really done without such controversies. Now by chanting our ex manager's name and booing our own players we are ruining even the slightest chance of a comeback during second half of the season for our club. We need the Hazards and Costas to perform and want them happy, enjoying their football once again if we are to have any genuine chance of finishing in top 6 never mind top 4 and more importantly to have a decent run in Champions League. Now go ahead you boo boys, keep booing our players, louder next time and make them feel alienated, make them know that they don't have support of fans anymore, get us relegated and enjoy your victory when that happens. All the best!

I don't believe / hope that the booing will continue but it was done to get a point across to certain players. Point given / hopefully point taken - now it's time to move on under Guus and push for top 4 and to beat PSG.

Sad day and Hazard still has his reaction of the crowd to come but he's gone and we need to carry on. Sunderland are very poor so I am not reading too much into this game although still vulnerable down the right. As it stands the pressure 'may' well switch to Louis Van Gaal!

Hi All,

Liverpool fan here but Scunthorpe lad living in London. Trying to get a couple of tickets for the upcoming FA Cup tie but struggling on the website.

Any advice? Or is it going to be an immediate sell out.

Thanks in advance,
Matt.

Almost all games at Stamford Bridge are sell outs eventually but you should be able to get a ticket if check when on general sale and be online early -- though if you are a hard Scunthorpe fan you should be trying for an away game ticket on their site of course!

Can understand you struggling on the website, the booking system has never been great! If you are looking for away tickets, have to say I think they will sell out quickly! If you are looking to blend in with the home fans ;) then I guess wait a week or so till general sale begins, I expect some will still be around as they usually have a couple days general sale before selling out so keep checking the ticket page online!
Hope this helps mate!
